Dionysis was sometimes called the Lord of Madness. Not hard to figure out why - he was the god of wine, the heady play on reality that was drama, and of course all ensuing goodtimes and resultant consequences. And a certain madness comes to the mind that delights too much, defined first and last by having no knowledge that it has left all reason behind. A juicy wine, heady and bright matches a conversation creating new realities, destroying them and reinventing the language for expressing the illusions we see and know to be more real than the polite lies that are the delusions of every day.
