Joined the Trans Solidarity Ride in Edinburgh in response to Cycling UK's decision not to include trans women in their Award
This is an unnecessary and discriminatory decision and will set a terrible precedent for cycling in the future. We need more cyclists!!
The anti trans movement in the UK is so similar to the the pure vegetarian movement in India in that they both hide their bigotry behind reasonable concerns but these ideologies are going to affect every material aspect of your life- whom you love, where you live, where you work, what you eat, what you wear, how you express yourself as a human being. Trans women and Indian muslims, especially women are the visible targets but the core of both is anti Blackness and casteism
You should reject them both!
