He loves this game of him trying to keep his lips from meeting yours but also kissing the edges of your mouth, which ends in both of your faces covered in pecks.

You can never tell which one of you is more excited every time you’re on your way, hand in hand, to a new coffee place. Once you’re there, you share everything without even having to ask. He memorizes what you like and dislike most in no time, and has it in mind every time he orders something, knowing he’ll give you half of it. He’s so attentive, instantly knowing if something is to your liking or not just by looking at your expression. He’s always ready to hand you a napkin if you need one, or hold your hair back if it’s about to get into your drink. Above all, he makes sure the date is enjoyable for you.

Stargazing.
Even though he has a very lively and energetic personality, quiet moments at night when it’s just the two of you are the most meaningful to him. That’s why some nights he takes you to the rooftop of his apartment building, one hand holding yours and the other carrying a fuzzy blanket for you two to lay comfortably. You lay side by side under the dark sky, his arm below your head so you can use it as a pillow, and also so he can bring you closer if needed. The conversation starts effortlessly, the way it does when you know the person you’re speaking with will never judge or hurt you. You talk about anything and everything, about trivial things like the weather and deep thoughts as how do you imagine your future together. All of that while keeping your eyes on the constellations above you. At one point, he starts playing with your hair, twirling some strands, feeling its softness. You’re not aware that you’re snuggling closer to him, to the point your head is resting on his chest. The sound of his heartbeat against your ears is enough to make you fall asleep, and he lets you, his heart full after feeling your bond getting stronger.

The moment you asked him for advice on skincare he spent a whole hour by your side explaining which products would be best for your skin and buying them online so you could have a set of your own. Since then, his favourite kind of dates involves just the two of you at home after long tiring days, relaxing by taking care of your skin. He turns soft when he notices how closely you look at his actions and repeat them yourself, until he offers to apply the products on your face himself. He caresses your face with such tenderness that makes you doubt if those hands belong to the same man who loves to tease you (lovingly) non-stop. He gladly lets you return the favour just so he can see you up close, which makes it difficult for you to apply the products as he won’t close his eyes (see what I did there). When you two have your masks on, he steps behind you to carefully brush your hair. Once your routines are done, he showers you in compliments that make you blush every time. He never gets tired of reminding you how beautiful you are and how much he enjoys dates like that.

Late night stroll.
You started to go out at around midnight due to the inability to fall asleep you two had during a certain period of time, when you were more stressed than usual. Even after that, you naturally added those late night walks into your routines, both of you enjoying that time together before going home to sleep. Even though you walk aimlessly, hands together and swinging in the air, you always find yourselves going towards the little playground of your neighbourhood, which is empty at night. You let yourselves become kids again, going down the slide and riding the seesaw between laughs, finding it funny how you’re a bit too big for them. Your competitive side makes an appearance when you’re on the swings, trying to see who can go up higher. You get startled when Seungho jumps off the swings when he reaches the highest point and lands on the soft grass rolling his body. He encourages you to try as well, assuring you he’ll catch you when he sees your hesitant expression. Next thing you know is that you’re jumping, flying in the air until a pair of arms wrap around you and hold you close so the impact against the ground isn’t as harsh. You stay there together, still laughing and slightly out of breath, wishing for more dates like that.

Arcade date.
For some people, it can be a very overwhelming place. But both of you truly enjoy all the coloured lights, the music coming from the machines, the excitement on people’s voices. You can never get enough of the arcade, to the point the employees there already know your faces and greet you whenever they see you enter, pinkies laced like always so you don’t get lost. You also have a routine, after you insisted you needed one for the sake of your savings – given that you go to the arcade every week, you don’t want you both to go bankrupt. So, according to your plan, you always go through a couple of your usuals, which include some ability games like the basketball one, and then you check out the claw machines. They usually change them every few weeks, so your eyes widen when you see that they have brought one full of plushies of your favourite Sanrio character. Of course, this doesn’t go unnoticed by Kenshin, who drags you towards it and immediately inserts a coin. He’s determined to get one for you even after several failed attempts and after you try to stop him from spending all his money. He doesn’t listen and, when he finally wins and hands you the plushie, he’s the happiest person alive. Even more when you hug him like he’s given you the moon.

Teaching you how to play badminton.
You tried to convince him that it was a bad idea, that you had never played badminton in your life and that sports weren’t your forte. Especially not the ones that involved rackets. But he insisted, and you didn’t have the strength to say no after seeing his excitement. You were visiting his hometown and he wanted to play with you where he used to play for hours with his friends. You are now holding the thin racket with unsteady hands, not really knowing what you’re doing. He comes near you to teach you the basics, how to hold the racket and how to serve, adjusting your posture and your grip. You have to admit he is a great teacher, but a very distracting one as well, as his proximity keeps making it difficult for you to focus on his words. Once you are more comfortable, you start to play against each other. You aren’t as bad as you imagined, to the point even Kyoungbae is surprised of how you’re actually making it difficult for him. He’s proud, though, and he makes sure you know that with the victory kiss he gladly gives you after you win the little match.

Yeojun: unapologetically clingy. Doesn’t mind if he’s in public or not, he will be less than three inches far from you. Due to his flirty and touchy nature, expect his lips often chasing yours and his hands reaching for your waist to pull you even closer. He feels blessed to have you as his partner. That’s why he needs to hold you at any given opportunity, to remind himself that you’re real and that you love him just as much.
Kenshin: would be top 1 if it weren’t for how flustered my boy gets. But don’t think that gets in the way. Very similarly to Yeojun, if he wants to cling to you, he will do it no matter who is around. He’s not subtle either, always engulfing you in big hugs and peppering your whole face with playful kisses. But the moment you decide to be just as touchy, he turns bright red in an instant, no matter how long you’ve been dating. Expect him to bury his face in your neck to recover.
Jingxiang: also one of the clingiest but unintentionally. He’s naturally drawn to you, just like a magnet. He can't help himself; he's always by your side. His arm is always around you, hand also reaching for yours and holding it tightly. Reality is that he tends to get very protective when you’re around. Sometimes he asks you if it’s too much, aware that some people might find it overwhelming but, honestly, you couldn’t care less.
Minwook: clingy but in secret. No matter how challenging the day is, he can get through it easily just by thinking that he’s going to have you all to himself when he arrives home. Once he clings to you, forget about doing anything else other than holding him for the next couple of hours. Literally, if you’re sitting or lying somewhere, he’s trapping you with his body weight. Don’t you dare to complain or he’ll shut you up with kisses and become even clingier.
Sungmin: pretty clingy but at specific moments, like when you’re watching a movie together, before falling asleep or when he doesn’t want to get out of bed in the morning. During these more vulnerable moments, he reaches his arms out for you before even noticing. You, being the one who usually clings to him, like to tease him when this happens, which makes him whine but also tighten his grip on you.
Seungho: not very clingy UNLESS you are the one clinging to him. The difference is crazy, going from not being especially touchy to hugging you even tighter than you're hugging him. I feel like, contrary to his usual energetic behaviour, he becomes softer when he has you close. His touch turns more careful and his kisses, more tender, a side of him that only you have seen.
Kyoungbae: my guy wants to be so nonchalant that he finds it hard to start clinging onto you. Not because he doesn’t want to, because he’s dying to have his arms around you and vice versa. But he’s still very new to romance, so he doesn’t really know how to approach certain things. He’s getting there though, and he’s finding it easier to let himself melt into your embrace.
After rehearsals, Minwook doesn’t have the energy to speak. He usually finds you in the couch or bed and approaches you, dragging his feet. He lays partially on top of you, burying his face in your neck and taking a deep breath with his eyes closed. He hugs you tightly by the waist and you wrap your arms around his neck with the same force. You ask him if he’s tired and he just nods, so you just play with his hair and press some kisses on his forehead and closed lids, feeling him relax in your embrace. He slides his hands beneath your shirt just to feel the warmth and softness of your skin, which helps him recharge his energy. He just wants to be held for a moment after carrying the role of the leader during the day.

You’re Jingxiang’s living teddy bear. He reaches for you in his sleep and pulls you close by your waist until your back is completely pressed against his chest. Sometimes, he gets insecure, wondering if he’s overwhelming you, causing him to start letting go. He leaves little sweet pecks all over your shoulders, feeling the luckiest person ever just because he’s able to hold you this close.

He complains that it tickles and that it distracts him from the game, but his actions betray his words when he nudges you closer with his arms. Sometimes, he lets you play, taking this opportunity to hug your waist tighter and kiss your cheeks, eventually biting them lovingly out of cuteness aggression when you get excited for winning (or sulky for losing).

However, it’s not rare that some of his members/roommates find you two cuddling and tease you both nonstop. He holds you even closer to shield you as best as he can, letting you hide your face in his neck in embarrassment, and promising to kill whoever has intruded his peace.

It was the first time you visited Kyoungbae’s hometown, but it was also his first time bringing someone as important as him to his childhood home.
It hasn’t been that long since you started dating. Maybe that was the reason he hesitated before asking you to visit his town. He didn’t want to go too fast or pressure you in any way, but he didn’t know exactly where to draw the line between being caring and overwhelming. Anyone could tell this was his first relationship – he was so lost and so in love at the same time.
Finally, and after his mother’s (threats) encouragement, he asked you to spend the weekend at his house. “My family really wants to know you in person. And I can show you around. Only if you want”, he had said.
Of course you agreed, making him smile brightly.
You had never talked to his father and brother. You had only talk to his mother on the phone, and she already liked you, but after spending a couple of days together, she adored you. Kyoungbae’s whole family were able to see for themselves what a lovely heart you carried and how good of a match you were for the youngest of the house. The three of them, especially his mom, quickly grew comfortable with you, ruffling your hair, poking your cheeks and even hugging you goodnight before going to bed.
Of course, that made you feel relieved that his family accepted you with such love, but it made you wonder why the only person refraining from showing affection to you was your own boyfriend.
You knew Kyoungbae wasn’t familiar yet with physical touch even back at home, but now in his hometown it was like he was even shyer every time you accidentally touched. You didn’t want to bring it up to him, in case it made him uncomfortable, but it made you wish that he would overcome this reticence of his.
Those thoughts were still running through your mind the last evening before going back home. He said he wanted to take you to the highest point of the town, where you could see miles and miles of land from above.
The walk was quiet. Not uncomfortable, but the kind of quiet that allows your thoughts to keep spiralling. You didn’t know Kyoungbae was aware that something wasn’t quite right.
When you reached the top of the hill, you leaned against the railing, truly amazed by the beautiful green scenery before your eyes. After this weekend in his hometown, you could now understand why Kyoungbae always spoke so highly of it.
He stood beside you and rested his hand just an inch from yours on the railing. “What’s wrong?”, he asked, breaking the silence. His pinkie brushed yours softly, encouraging you to speak.
You looked down at where your fingers touched and pursed your lips, a habit of yours when you weren’t sure about saying something. A habit that Kyoungbae knew very well.
He suddenly moved until he was standing behind you and surrounded his arms around your waist. Your breath hitched in the slightest, not expecting this sudden contact. “Come on, tell me”. His breath fanned your ear, his chin resting on your shoulder.
“I didn’t know how long it would take you to do this”, you confessed in a quiet voice.
He sighed and squeezed you gently. You finally let yourself melt in between his arms, noticing that his muscles were still a tiny bit tense. “I’m sorry”, he kissed your shoulder. “I swear I was dying to. I guess I’m just not used to this”.
“I understand. You don’t have to apologize”, you rubbed his forearms that were resting on your belly. “Just know that you don’t have to ask for permission when you want to do this”.
“Good to know”, he muttered. He kissed your cheek softly, letting his lips linger for just a second. “I promise I’ll get better”.
You smiled to yourself and turned around, his arms still wrapped loosely around your waist. You cupped his face and brought his face closer. Your lips met midway in a tender and unrushed kiss, the type you give when you know you have all the time in the world.
You broke the kiss as a smile was appearing on your lips. “Good to know”.
