Third out of five, had some trouble adapting to the different body shape compared to the asuras that came before her, but i'm pretty happy with the final result.

🍂Cylene "Cylle" Shadowleaf 🍂
This is Cylle: an excessively cheerful personality, an endless need for exploration, too much empathy and a tad of lunacy to round off her personality. She easily gets excited about anything new, tries to discover everything she can on it, then shifts her attention on something else and starts back again. (She has problems, i know).
She is part of a "batch" of sylvari wich the Nightmare Court tried to poison while still in their pods in the hope that either the newly awakened Sylvari would be already on Nightmare's side or they would be easier to convert. In an attempt to save her children, the Pale Tree altered their growth rate, making them awake sooner than expected to reduce the time poison had to get them. Thus the first (and probably only) sylvari children generation awakened, taking about 5-10 years to reach adulthood outside their pods. (Slightly inspired by the Grove loading screen).
Cylle's pod was one of the first to be poisoned, and this came with side effects. Her link to the Dream was disturbed by the poison, and she soon felt Nightmare's presence knocking to enter her head. The only time she was brought close to the Grove she started feeling really sick and violent, unable to control herself. Firstborns Kahedis and Dagonet kept her with them for almost two years, in the hope of understanding her problems through the Dream, but nothing worked. They eventually left her with the soundless, in the hope that the minimization of the contact she had with the Dream could help.
Cylle stayed with the soundless until a couple of years before reaching adulthood; in this time, she mastered her shadow magic (learning to do cantrip-like small effects and bigger spells, wich later enabled her to learn the ways of the Deadeye and the Specter) and became an expert explorer. She explored and mapped the entirety of Caledon Forest and Metrica Province, making friends and fighting Risen and the Nightmare Court, but none of that felt enough to her. So, the day a lost firstborn passed by the Soundless island, she decided she had to leave with him, and answer the call of the world, begging to be explored.
Sloooow progress, but still progress, am i right? Cylle has been my main for a long long time, and she still is the character i play the new story chapters when they come out (and basically the only character i played pvp with), so i wanted to have a good result with this presentation post. I may have spent too much time balancing her and not the background, but i'm happy with the final result (apart from the white stripe i used to divide the roof of that Sylvari building from its base). Stay tuned for the next one :)
Late valentine edit, was a nightmare to get the right pose but pretty happy with the result ^^ Meet two of my OCs, out of the action (and in confy clothes) for a change. Rest, my children, you've earned it <3
