For the valentines ask prompt, can you answer every question with a 1 in the number? If you’ve don’t some of them already you can skip them. :)
1: Do you have a crush at the moment?
Answered this one but yep! A big one but a hopeless one.
11: When you are dating someone do you believe in going on “breaks”?
I dunno, like...I’d judge this on a case by case basis lol. My ex and I took a few “breaks” where we should have just ended things completely early on, because it would have saved us a lot of pain and heartache.
But I’m sure there are certain relationships where it could be good and healthy to take some time apart to work on ones self to be better for the one you love. I imagine it’s possible to love someone enough to want to be with them but recognize that at the moment it’s just not possible until you’ve done some growing.
21: Do you think people who have dated can stay friends?
I have only one ex and staying friends did not work for us but to be fair he was an especially difficult person to talk to and try to be friends with lol. Our relationship was toxic as hell and our friendship was basically just more of that.
I’m sure two emotionally mature people who manage to end things on amicable terms could remain friends.
31: Would it bother you if your partner suffered from any mental illness?
As a super mentally ill person myself it would be pretty hypocritical of me to be bothered by it in someone else. I’d hope that we could both be understanding and supportive of each other in dealing with our struggles. Facing them together.
41: What’s your imagination of a “perfect date”?
I dunno if you’ve seen the film Before Sunrise but like...basically that movie depicts my idea of a perfect date. exploring a beautiful city together as you get to know each other, listen to music, go to dinner, take in the sights, drink, and make love under the stars.
51: Would you rather date someone who’s rich but a douchebag or someone who’s poor but a nice guy?
poor but a nice guy. No tolerance for rich douchebags.
61: Who’s more important: Your partner or your family?
Probably my partner, if i was forced to choose. I do love my family but they can be trying, and ideally my partner would be able to provide me safety and comfort that i don’t necessarily feel around them.
