Hi, nonny! I’ll gladly do this, hope you enjoy! I didn’t specify specifically if it was Cypher’s actual kid lol, cause keep in mind I tried to keep this mainly for a GN!reader, hope you like it!

You and Cypher have gone over the possibility of starting a family together but you guys haven’t ever actually gone into further detail or have gone through with anything.

You know that he’s a sucker for kids tho, I mean he had a kid before, things just ended up rather badly.

The first time he holds the little one, he has a really gentle smile on his face as they grab at his finger, cooing softly.

I’d like to think that Cypher is a strict dad, but is lenient enough to let them get away with shit cause he can’t help but dote on them.

He definitely has cameras set up in the nursery to keep an eye on them while he works, he also has tripwires set up on the window so if someone breaks it open, he’ll know right away.

Cypher would also speak to them in Arabic, recalling bedtime stories and giving them little nicknames because he adores the kid sm.

You’ve caught him baby-talking them on multiple occasions and while he denies that he does you’ve seen it with your own eyes.

Cypher would be lying if he said that he wasn’t scared shitless of possibly losing you or the kid. He can’t go through the trauma of losing his family again.

If his kid gets a s/o, he’s totally the dad that seems all nice and welcoming on the outside but as soon as he has the s/o alone, he leans in with a smile and goes, “Pull anything over on them and I will not hesitate to track you down and deal with you myself :)”

Unless you’re also an agent on the VP, Cypher would like to keep you and the kid out of his line of vawork as much as he possibly could. He doesn’t want to taint your guys’ view of him, he has enough blood on his hands as is.

But to sum things up, Cypher would be a really, really good dad. This isn’t his first rodeo.

For the most part, Cypher isn’t typically very clingy, but occasionally when he’s had an especially stressful day like if he’s just come back from a mission, he’s very clingy.

He’ll usually pull you off to the side or into his workshop to get you to himself.

It's at this time that you get to see a softer side of Cypher, no fronts being put up, no faking anything, just you and Cypher chilling together

The two of you cuddling is literally just Cypher hugging you from behind and his face buried in your neck

In moments like these, Cypher feels as though he can truly be himself without his mask on. He trusts you with his entire being, knowing that you wouldn’t betray him. The last time he took his mask off, things didn’t end very well for him and for his family, which is why he never takes off his mask now. Trauma’s a bitch y’know?

He feels as though he can really let his walls down, you’re the only person he’s willing to be that vulnerable with.

“What’s the matter?” you laugh, brushing a stray strand of hair out of his face. “Are you tired, my love?” you murmur, pulling him in closer, relishing his warmth. “Just a little bit,” he mumbled, intertwining himself with you further, “I’ve had a stressful day, can you give me this my rose?”

You cupped his face tenderly, smiling softly, “Well, you are clinging to me so I can’t move, so I guess it’s fine.” He scoffed, burying himself deeper into you, trying to get as close as possible, “Well I do put my life on the line every day so I believe that this is well deserved.” You sighed, giggling softly, “Fineeee. I love you, Aamir.”

“I love you too, my desert bloom.”

I’m sure Cypher probably has a shit sleeping schedule cause he’s busy staying up all night spying on the other agents working on stuff in his workshop.

However, when he has down time as rare as it is, he loves listening to you play for him, The way your hands slide across the strings, the way your expression is so focused, what can I say he just adores you

He’ll often pull you into his workshop to play for him so he’ll have something in the background for him to listen to

But sometimes, he’s so focused on what he’s doing that he just loses track of the time, or he’s just too restless to sleep properly

To combat this, you’ll often pull out your guitar to help him sleep easier, and it works! The guitar manages to lull him to sleep

more under the cut!

“Aamirrrrr,” you whine softly, tugging on his arm, “Come get some rest, you’ve been working all day long. Spend some time with me,” you pleaded with him, pouting in his direction. Cypher’s hands paused over his keyboard as he laughed softly, pressing a hand to your head, ruffling your hair affectionately. “Not now my desert bloom, there’s still work to do. I’m sorry, I’ll be there soon,” he responded, regretfully letting go of you as he focused his attention back on his computer screen. You huffed impatiently, sitting on the edge of the bed trying to think of ways to get Cypher to yourself. You perked up, reaching to the side to grab your guitar. Settling it on your knee, you gently ran your hands across the strings to ensure that they were in tune. Starting off slow, you picked up the melody increasing the volume in the hopes that Cypher would hear. Upon hearing the melody, his head slowly rose as he looked back, realizing that you were the one playing. Meanwhile, you were completely lost in your music, humming along to the music. “Oh? Is this your way of getting my attention?” he chuckled, wrapping his arms around your waist, “It seems I’m not the only one lost in my own world now.” You stopped playing turning to gaze at him, “Will you come sleep now?” you grumble. “Yes, yes, I’m here now am I not? However, I do have a request.” You twist around in his grasp, “And what would that be?” Cypher leaned back, resting against the headboard. “Well, I’d like you to play for me,” he said, a hand pressed against yours, rubbing it gently. “If you wouldn’t mind.” You smiled softly, shifting your guitar into a more comfortable position. “Of course,” you murmured, positioning your hand over the string, plucking them much more gently this time, a slower melody echoing out. Cypher let out a sigh, sinking back against the pillows, shutting his eyes. “Thank you my love.”
