You ever find something where the similarities are so close but the time of the work don’t match up so you absolutely cannot guess if it’s a coincidence or was planned since much longer than you thought?
I was going through Mechquest, on Planet Liath and i found something.. interesting that I thought I should share with you all
Now this is pretty on its own, but for anyone who’s played Dragonfable, it might seem familiar
It could just be a coincidence, but it’s so close to the Inevitable Equilibrium arena in aesthetic
It’s even the only place in the entire game where I’ve met elementals, which, as far as I know, were likely subserviant to the Aequilibria considering that the Exalted fought both the Aequilibria and elementals in the same war.
Am I looking too deeply into it? The Aequilibria seems to be something that’s more native to Book 3′s writing more than anything, it couldn’t have been planned for this far back ahead.. could it?
I know the people here always have some interesting insights into the matter, I’d be curious to know your thoughts.
And even if you don’t believe that this is related to the Aequilibria, I’d love to know the theories and headcanons from the Mechquest fandom on what this could be.
Do y’all ever wonder if the reason Mechquest only focuses on Soluna City (when it comes to Loreon) and most random battles take place in deserted or ruined landscape is because the rest of Loreon has been devastated by the Shadowscythe? And Soluna City is the only city left standing on Loreon?
I mean look at this. Most random encounters on Lore are set in deserts or ruins, and quite a few quests on Loreon show ruined cities.
