"I understand," she nodded again. She just couldn’t get over the display of violence so close and on her behalf. "I'm sorry, my reaction is uncalled for."

1. How do they fall asleep? Wake up? Any daily rituals?
Cyra usually has to tell Tabs to go to bed, since she’ll go for up to a week without sleeping at all and start to get moody. Tabitha usually pulls Cyra into bed when she has drank a little too much. They often fall asleep cuddling, sometimes waking up that way, and usually kiss each other sometime between waking up and actually getting out of bed.
10: Who drives? Cooks? Does the handiwork? Cleans? Pays the bills? Handles the public?
Tabitha does all the above. She doesn’t want someone seeing a driver with orange eyes and deciding to pull them over, she’s an excellent cook and actually enjoys housework more than she’d like to admit, she has a surplus of money, and naturally handles the public on Earth because Cyra’s relatively unfamiliar with the planet. On Cyra’s planet, though, she takes a step back in that area.
22. Does their work ever interfere with the relationship?
Frequently. Cyra is often called back to Xoriamus for missions and when Tabitha accepts a job, she spends days at a time working on plans - though she doesn’t accept a job if the women are already doing something important. Cyra usually drinks when she gets back from any particularly traumatizing mission, although Tabitha does her best to support her. And Tabs is sometimes oblivious of Cyra’s presence when she’s working. They often feel lonely around each other.
36. What’s their greatest strength as a couple? Their weakness?
Oh man. Um. Their greatest strength is probably their acceptance of one another. They don’t always understand each other’s actions, but they still accept them whether they’re explained or not.Their greatest weakness is that they’re constantly doubting themselves and each other - their greatest weakness is their contrasted mortality and immortality.
"I... erm... I'm sorry." She rubbed her neck, noticing how the other never looked her in the eye. "That you had to see that, I mean..."
“It’s fine,” Tabitha nodded quickly. She almost bit her thumbnail, but caught herself and started at her hand before letting it fall to her side. Cyra wasn’t mad at her.
She looked over at the pulverized corpse and then turned, walking away quickly and with her feet raised a little too high, like every time she set them on the floor she got burnt. ”Please clean it up when you’re done with it.”
((OMG AWESOME THANK U <3 Cyra feels bad omg)) She swallowed tightly, walking over to Tabitha. "Tabs..?" She mumbled quietly, biting her tongue.
Tabitha almost jumped at the sound of Cyra’s voice. She looked up at her mistress, but didn’t make eye contact - looking past or through her. “Yes?” she asked in as steady a tone as she could manage.

"This isn’t much of a decision. Cyra, without doubt."
AHEM IMAGINE CYRA LEAVING BECAUSE ANOTHER WAR HAPPENS IN XORIAMUS AND SHE DIES AND NIGHTFALL OR ONE IF THE OTHERS HAS TO TELL TABITHA
Glass stares for several minutes, the beverage in the mug in her hands growing as cold as her skin. Finally, she blinks, opening her mouth to speak but no words coming. She tries again, and this time they do. “Thank you for telling me.”
A few moments pass after the alien says ‘you’re welcome,’ Glass continuing to stare blankly, until she finally stands and walks, as calmly and coolly as she was capable, to the front door and opens it. “I’m sure your leaders are waiting for you to fight with her. I hope your war is over before too many centuries pass.”
Once they’re gone, Tabitha swallows tightly. She goes downstairs and just works. And she continues to work for days on end. Weapon after weapon, toxin after toxin, kill after kill.
And one day she realizes it. It doesn’t hit her smack-dab in the face, it just settles on her like the silent, thick snowflakes settle on the ground on a warm evening. Cyra was either dead, dying or fighting for her family, people she loved. People who deserved her love. Good. This is good for her. This is good for her family. It’s the right thing for Cyra.
No bitterness. No hatred. Sadness, yes, but that could be nullified. Cyra was where she needed to be.
Good for her.
" I’m going to miss your lips. And everything attached to them."
"Are you going back home? When are you returning?"
Cyra let out a humorless laugh, watching Tabtha for a few seconds. "I really don't deserve you. I really, really, /really/ don't."
Tabitha stared back, confusion and pain in her eyes. “Cyra, stop saying things like that. I’m the least you deserve. You could have someone better, I don’t-“
"Why are you saying things like this?" she felt like she was falling, and tried to get a hold. Maybe something was wrong. Something had to be wrong, this was too strange for the other woman. "Is something wrong?"
