💙 #AsQueerAsIWantToBe 💕✨ . When 📸 @britterst asked me “What was your coming out story like?” I said that I feel like I am still coming out all the time.🤦🏼♂️ . 💁🏼♂️✨ Though I totes wish I could have orchestrated a big queer reveal party in my tweens, most of my coming out experiences have been more awkward and corrective. . 🤷🏼♂️ I started dating another male in high school, and I remember feeling confused why people thought that me dating a man confirmed anything. I didn’t change. I had liked both men and women as long as I can remember, but even today reminding people that this decision doesn’t have to be binary can be, well... tiresome. . As a 30-year-old, I’m still learning how to come out. 🌻 🌈 I’m learning how to come out as a man. 🌈 I’m coming out of my shell of not feeling like I need to adhere to gender norms. 🌈 I’m coming out as being more comfortable with wearing make up and heels in public. 🌈 I’m coming out as an addict in recovery. 🌈 I’m coming out as someone who’s still just trying to feel comfortable living in this world through anxiety and depression. . 🌈 I’m coming out as a bisexual and biromantic human. . 🙋🏼♂️ And, I’m coming out as me: Eoin Thomas Sharkey (an imperfect person). . 💌 If you are ever struggling to figure out who you are, know that you are not alone, and that I believe in you. 🌈✨🦄 And here’s the great news! Other people’s decisions of what they want to label us as... are their thoughts. You’re allowed to have your own interpretation, and you’re allowed to keep it to yourself as long as you want. 😘✨ Feel free to reach out anytime. 📮 • 🏳️🌈 #AsBiAsIWantToBe #NationalComingOutDay 💕 📸 Photo by @britterst • https://ift.tt/2M6MDx8 • #SOCYUTE
