So in the D&Destiny game I DM my players are all Lightbearing Hive for aunty Savathun and they recently had to go down to the breeding caverns to talk to The Bitch In Charge and came across some Hive larva. Not worms, those are different. But actual larva. And that's when we collectively decided Hive larva look like this (with some green eyes)

Hello, people of Tumblr. I'm not sure how many people know about d&destiny, so I'm making a post about it. It's a reimagining of the 5e rules to work with the lore and mechanics of destiny. The PC's are all guardians with their own ghosts, and you aren't limited by the standard three Destiny races. Cabal, Eliksni, Krill, Psion, and Vex are all playable options. There are also some other fun things in the architect’s guide, like wishing on an Ahamkara or making a thorn. Also included is "Written In Light" a collection of stories from people who have played it. It's also completely free. So if you're interested, feel free to check it out.

((I'm finally getting around to writing that D&D campaign Rise of House Raptor. But HECK MAN. I'm on page like 10 and it's till just me organizing stuff /in the tower/

Like. Places you can go, people you can talk to, items they have, bounties they have. I'm not even close to writing my story yet and my shoulders wanna cry, haha. Maybe one day I'll finally write an introduction that will get this story going. Who knows.

Also just now remembering I'm writing this having taking the players across /3 planets/ now trying to find them. Makes me wanna regret writing this at all. So many encounters. So many. THINGS. Ahhhhhh. What have I gotten myself into))

I absolutely love DMing D&Destiny because not only can I use the lore of the world but also have wonderful players. Wonderful enough that I used Io and the residual Traveler’s light as a mechanic in the game for a resurrection after a npc they adored got corrupted by Thorn. 10/10 would recommend :D

Just finished the first set up game for the D&Destiny game I'm running and

So fun!

It was so fun

lasted like 5 fucking hours which was NOT intentional. I planned two very short encounters for a single player and somehow he just kept MISSING. Dude couldn't roll above a 13 to save his life omfg.

We're doing a Lucent High campaign so there's some home brew stuff bc D&Destiny doesn't have scorn or the new Hive Lightbearers but brrrrrrrrrrr

Writing for D&Destiny

Greetings, Guardians! I’m pleased to officially announce I’ve been commissioned as writer and editor for Dungeons & Destiny (@dndestinyproject), the ongoing project to adapt D&D 5E into a system for all your Destiny TTG needs. I’ll be writing bestiary entries, exotic descriptions, and other flavorful goodies as needed, as well as proofing the manuals for consistency and generally tending to whatever words need wrangling.

You can learn all about the project and get your hands on the public beta materials at this lovely website. The first bits of my contribution (introductions to the four major enemy races) have already been published, so head on over if you’d like to give those a read.
