If I have to explain to this insurance company that I need to bill 8mls (2ml per injectable pen) instead of 4 pens one more time, I'm going to lose my mind. It's just a 28 day supply

I call them twice a day for my job just so I can explain the same situation again and again, and I am always placed on a 15-20 minute hold to confirm that this is correct

And it's not just me. It's my whole department at the pharmacy I work for. Half the time I have to argue that I'm not send the patient 8 pens. It's several medications set up this way in our system, and there's no way to change it in our system

And the insurance company just doesn't listen. It drives me up a wall, and I just need the approval of a loading dose. Literally a one time dose then it goes back to normal. They never have a hard time with the normal dose
