Finally some oc content on this blog. Dûsh and Gogat, being blood-brothers, share several issues. Dûsh doesn't like to admit it, but Gogat did pick up some of those toxic traits from him; it's an uncomfortable truth, that makes Dûsh question his role as the big brother and even his self-worth, as he feels partially responsible for who Gogat later turned into. At the same time, he's mature enough to understand that Gogat is his own uruk and could have made different choices... But still, the guilt remains.

Some OCs headcanons (since you people like my boys)

'Gogat' means 'left-handed', 'clumsy' and it is of Sindarin origin so, rather than being a real name, it's a nickname that other uruks gave to Gogat.

Gogat sleeps with a hand on his face, for fear of being scarred again and of his scar becoming infected.

Dûsh can't write or read, unlike Gogat, who reads and writes for him. He has resisted attempts by his brother to teach him, because, in his opinion, "a strong warrior doesn't concern himself with runes and letters".

Dûsh has a type of colour blindness that makes him unable to see shades of red, orange, yellow; warm colours in general either appear blood red or some shade of brown.

He didn't acknowledge it and he beat those who made him notice that.

Dûsh generally doesn't handle well being perceived as anything other than the Perfect Specimen of Uruk-hai. He's quite vain.

Gogat is a haruspex. He inspects the viscera of animals to make predictions and interrogate the ancient entities that the Mystics believe in.
