“Oh! Sweetie these are so beautiful! Love, you didn’t have to go through the trouble!” Rei gasped softly as she took the bouquet, holding them close to her chest with a shy giggle only to use her other hand to tug her son close and pepper his head with loving kisses.
“Thank you sweetie, I’m so thankful, truly. I love you so much.” She murmured, hugging him tight. “I’ll cherish them, oh! I can put them right by my bedside! I’ll wake up and see them every morning and think of you.”

He looked rather excited that Wendy purred, looking up at Bartz-- "I t-think she likes me!" He'd pet her for a while longer before offering her back to her owner, eyes creasing in a smile. "Thank you..."
The chick jerked her head around, trying to make sure everything was okay before Vivi's hand returned to the top of her head, fluffing up after each enjoyable stroke from her new friend. When Vivi stretched his arms back out toward Bartz, she gave on last look at the young boy, right in his glowing yellow eyes, before chirping and jumping back into the nest that had come to be Bartz's head and curling up for a nap.
The mime couldn't help but laugh at the antics of them both. "You're welcome! If you ever want to say hi again, don't be afraid to ask!"
