K'piru to D'hein: 💞 There's also a certain willingness to accept a platonic-pseudo-romantic relationship as per the very deeply ingrained traditions of her culture that still influence how she perceives the world. She hasn't had enough of a chance to get to know him personally beyond the emotional urgency of their shared daughter/"daughter" though to really feel any true love toward him.
I feel like things changed between them when D’hein became Nunh, because suddenly that lends authenticity to his romantic advances. He wasn’t just a flirty Tia any more. But then his Nunh status was thrown into doubt, and now things are kind of crazy. Also, D’hein is marrying Piru’s daughter, which is awkward. And then there’s K’ile being around and zombie Thalen showing up.
It’ll certainly be interesting to see what things are like between them when the dust settles, if it ever does.
Illira to Dhein: 💔 and maybe just a dash of 💞 because her emotions get so out of control around him.
I don’t think that’s too surprising. The hate has been played out well in RP. And if my long years of shipping have taught me anything, any strong emotional connection can be transmuted into attraction!
K'airos to D'hein: 💞
That’s understandable! D’hein is the king of mixed signals. On the one hand he’s trying to be a father figure, but on the other hand is constantly flirting with her, but on the other other hand has expressed romantic intentions toward her mother! At least all of these different roles count as positive?
Dhein - 30. Finally; if your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why? Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something?
D’hein loves milk and those pastries they serve at the little cafe in the Hustings Strip. You know, the one down that side hallway that’s dimly lit with soft red light so it looks like sunrise all the time? That’s all he eats half the time already anyway. Not very healthy, but I guess he gets a lot of exercise?
D’hein takes pretty frequent breaks when he’s stressed. He’s a big believer in relaxation and clearing your head. He’s very easily overwhelmed and, for a guy who seems to have so much chill, can really lose his head when he’s worried about people he cares about. I think it’s come up a few times in rp, him just sitting alone when he should probably be doing something about something important. D’ahl’s death comes to mind.

I would hurt you or use you. | you unsettle me. | I dislike you or you annoy me. | I would like to get to know you better. | I pity you. | you confuse me. | I feel indifferent towards you. | I would be friends with you. | I would fight by your side. | I would hug you or hold your hand. | I would kiss you. | I would sleep with you. | I would lie for you. | I would protect you. | I would fall (possibly) in love with you. | I would kill for you | I respect you. | you are my family. | I don’t know you.

It’s an evolving relationship.
ARR | "Okay, D'hein, I'm asking you another. Which one are you going to marry? The daughter or the mother? Reference previous question if trouble arises when figuring it out who I'm talking about!"
D’hein leaned over his desk and studied the two documents before him, appearing vexed. One ear flicked on occasion while the other lay lazily back. “Reference the previous... this one? Antimony, then, and the daughter in question... Not D’aijeen, certainly, so... Ah, Airos! Right. The daughter or the mother!” He lifted the documents before him, smile wide and lips thin. His happily thoughtful humming calmed over seconds, and then silenced. He narrowed his eyes. “I’m not sure this question makes any sense. Much less refreshing than the last one... Perhaps it’s a puzzle.”
