I am always here for BtVS meta! We do need to bring it back. And lol, I forgot about the velvet button downs. Angel(us) really must have had a thing for the velvet. He did eventually upgrade to leather though!

I will never forget the velvet button downs, they are burned into my brain for the rest of my life. I think AtS was a definite sartorial upgrade for Angel on top of all the character growth. OH THE LATE 90S/EARLY 00S. (Remember Willow’s sweaters and hats? AND ALL OF BUFFY’S BUTTERFLY CLIPS? I have so much nostalgia right now)

People have so many weird, preconceived notions about why others might read/write romance. When I first started reading them, I felt like I needed to hide what I was reading. But then I was just like, f- that I enjoy them. I'm aro, but I love reading romances because I love character studies and a good romance novel lives and dies on the strength of its characters. And there are a million other reasons why people enjoy them.

To me, romance novels are like a good thriller or murder mystery: sure, there might be some stock characters and they might rely on tropes and you pretty much know how it’s going to end, but it’s fun and relaxing and fuck it, life is too short to not enjoy yourself.

iZombie is pretty good. I haven’t gotten far, but what I have seen of it has been great.
