Pre-crazy Araidne to Twinsoul: 💘 she was pretty neutral for a while, even though Twinsoul was apparently helping her (and Thiereia). She was inching toward 💓 around the time Twinsoul got abandoned at Tilza's in the middle of stealing some Zuras' Dream.

Yeah, that was a pretty jarring separation. It seems to be a pattern of their interactions. They travel together, work together, help each other, but they only manage to get so comfortable with one another before something splits them up.

K'piru to D'hein: 💞 There's also a certain willingness to accept a platonic-pseudo-romantic relationship as per the very deeply ingrained traditions of her culture that still influence how she perceives the world. She hasn't had enough of a chance to get to know him personally beyond the emotional urgency of their shared daughter/"daughter" though to really feel any true love toward him.

I feel like things changed between them when D’hein became Nunh, because suddenly that lends authenticity to his romantic advances. He wasn’t just a flirty Tia any more. But then his Nunh status was thrown into doubt, and now things are kind of crazy. Also, D’hein is marrying Piru’s daughter, which is awkward. And then there’s K’ile being around and zombie Thalen showing up.

It’ll certainly be interesting to see what things are like between them when the dust settles, if it ever does.

K'piru to K'ile: 💛💖💗 and to be honest, there's probably a smidge of 💜 buried deep and largely because he just hits all the right notes physically (like Thalen did).

This ship has so much steam but never goes anywhere. The captain’s just sitting at the helm with the engine running and everyone like, “Are we going? We’re ready. Let’s go!” and the captain’s like, “Nope.”

Megiddo - #21

21. Your character has been granted three wishes. What would they wish for and why?

The first thing Megiddo would wish for is his family back, and healthy, and home. He wouldn’t care if that took all three wishes. It would be the first thing he would think of and the only thing he could think about until it was done. I can’t imagine what else an old man who has watched four generations of peers, children, grandchildren and more, die.

His second wish would involve Niqmepa, the daughter that he had by Ugarit. His wife was a wicked woman who abused their child for years and eventually murdered her. Megiddo, being a practical man, would wish to have learned the extent of his wife’s wickedness in time to kill the woman before she hurt Niqmepa.

His third wish would be about Loughree. Having Lou’s mother alive again would do a lot to repair their relationship. But at the core of it, Megiddo feels there is something deeply wrong with Loughree that he would wish to have corrected.
