"So, did you ever figure out your caveman issues?"
"Oh shut up, Yuri." Brook paused. "-but yes. I went to the blacksmith."
"Good! I'm so glad I don't have to worry about you losing any fingers to rock related issues."
"You are in so much trouble though."
"Because I saved you from yourself?" Yuri cocked her head, while Macy looked between them like she was watching a particularly fascinating ping pong match.
"No. Because you didn't warn me that the blacksmith was fucking hot! I made a complete fool of myself, Yur! It was an embarrassment! I dropped all my shit on the ground, and he was so nice and helped me pick it up and I couldn't even say anything and I just kept staring because holy shit - "
Macy looked like she'd experienced epiphany. "Oh, you didn't warn her about Pablo?"
Brook was about to answer when a head popped up between Yuri and Macy, causing all three girls to nearly jump out of their seats. "Who's warning the new girl about me? What's there to warn about?" He stuck his hand out across the table, which Brook tentatively took. "Hi there, new farmer, lovely to meet you. And might I just say, you are much more beautiful than I expected. Maybe they should've been warning me about you instead, no?"
As Pablo brought the back of her hand up for a brief kiss and followed it up with a wink, Brook risked a glance at her companions, who looked like they'd just been struck by lightning. Macy recovered first, leaving Yuri with wide eyes and an open mouth. "So Pablo, lovely new farmer here must've met your brother earlier. You weren't in?"
"Ah, no, my dear Macy, I was down at the beach drinking from a coconut and enjoying the sunshine. You know how I hate being cooped up on such a nice day."
Both girls made a small "Huh" sound, staring at the situation unfolding before them.
Pablo turned his attention back to the newest addition to their town. "So, Brook, you met my little brother then? How was he? Haven't seen him much today, you know."
"Oh he was, uh, nice?" She cringed as she tried and failed to think of any reasonable answer to the question. "I don't think I caught his name while I was there though, I was pretty focused on... geodes."
