“Brand New World” is somewhat infamous for being criminally short. Lasting only 15 episodes, it’s one of the shortest openings, second only to “We Are! (Straw Hat Pirates Version)”. It does not even get to many of the episodes with shots shown in the opening. So I wanted to do it justice by giving it reign over the entire Enies Lobby arc; I will be making “Crazy Rainbow” about Post-Enies Lobby. And don’t worry, I’m not forgetting about “We Are! (Straw Hat Pirates Version)”.

This is the first time I could not find any animations from outside media. They probably exist, but I couldn’t find them. So all of the extended shots are exclusively clips from the show. But I think I made it work pretty well. I could have used Episode of Merry, but to reiterate, I don’t like using animations from a different era of One Piece. Somebody else already made an extended version of Brand New World on YouTube, if you want to see an alternate approach to this concept, I suggest you check it out. It speeds up a lot of footage to encompass a whole fight, which I’m not a big fan of. But I don’t want to dock it too many points, this video is actually my inspiration for making these extended openings.
