I know it's been a long time, but I want to thank you for giving advice on for when I asked about what I should do about the cats in my backyard! They've been doing okay for now, and three of the six kittens have decided that I'm safe to be around if I have food (except for a bit of hissing every now and then, even though I barely move) My dad does plan to trap them and take them all to be neutered and spayed, will this be a good idea? Would it ruin their experience with humans?

I don't think it would entirely ruins their experience with humans, but it will set you back a bit. However, trapping and neutering them is the best option for their health!

Thank you! Although, I would imagine the kittens have lived their entire life outside (they were born in our backyard), and judging from how the mom reacts aggressively and how she has no collar, she's a feral cat. Either that, or she's a lost outdoor cat, which I doubt. Anyways, some of the kittens are less scared of us, but they're still not used to us. I think I know what to do now, but as a sort of side question, have you had any experiences with Kirkland's Chicken and Rice Cat Food before?

I've never heard of it, but from a quick google search of the ingredients/complaints it seems really shady. Skip it!
