Anta-Capela de São Dinis | Dolmen-Chapel of Saint Denis (Évora, Portugal)
The Anta de Pavia (Dolmen of Pavia) is located in the village of Pavia, in Mora (Évora). It is one of the most important dolmens in Portugal, built between the 4th and 3rd millennium BC, having been adapted to a Christian temple during the 17th century. It still preserves the enormous seven pillars and the large capstone . It has a small bell tower, a cross and inside they built an altar lined with a panel of blue tiles from the said century. Also, it was named after King Denis of Portugal, in his honor after granting the charter to the village.
