❛ Are you asking me or telling me? ❜
@d1eonthishill asked ❝ don’t worry. you can trust me. ❞
He tried to sink lower, as if he could be closer to her height than his own. "Of course I trust you."

@d1eonthishill liked for a starter | Danny & Debbie
Danny had thought faking his own death was a brilliant idea. At first. After all, what better way to get the heat off of himself before the next big score?
Turns out... dying came with its own set of inconveniences. People were entirely too friendly. Complete strangers insisted on making conversation. Cashiers asked how his day was going. Baristas wanted to know if he had any plans for the weekend. He'd spent a lifetime convincing people to trust him, and now all he wanted was for everyone to leave him the hell alone.
Staying incognito was a lot harder than the movies made it look. Then there was the part no amount of planning had prepared him for. He missed them. Tess. Debbie. Maisie.
Even Rusty. Though Danny would deny saying so if anyone ever asked. Linus, Basher, Livingston... the whole dysfunctional family he'd somehow managed to collect over the years.
He made a mental note to start pushing the timetable. Whatever they had to do to get this next score moving, he'd figure it out. The sooner they pulled it off, the sooner Danny Ocean could stop being a ghost and go back to being merely wanted in a handful of countries.
For now, though, this would have to do. Meeting Debbie wasn't without risk, but if there was anyone he trusted to keep a secret this big, it was his sister.
Slipping into the booth tucked away in the far corner of the diner, Danny picked up the menu and held it high enough to shield most of his face from the rest of the restaurant. When a waiter wandered over, pad in hand and a smile already forming, Danny quietly slid a fifty-dollar bill across the table.
"I'm waiting on someone," he said with an easy grin. "If you could pretend you never saw me, I'd appreciate it."
The waiter glanced down at the bill, then back up at Danny. "...Coffee?" Danny considered it for a moment before lowering the menu just enough to smile.
"Yeah. Coffee sounds good." Once the waiter disappeared, he leaned back against the booth and let out a slow breath, his eyes drifting toward the entrance.
Now all he had to do was wait for his sister.

“STOP PUTTING YOURSELF INTO DANGER!” PROMPTS
"AND I SAID I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME." Danny sighs, signaling for the driver to begin moving again. "You know, typically when people get rescued, they say a couple words of thanks." His arms are crossed, leaning back into his seat as he studies his sister. "I'm pulling the big brother card here: What the hell do you think you're doing?" And just as he speaks, he raises a finger. "Wait, wait. Don't -- I don't want to hear what excuse you're cooking up." He glances out the window and the passing scenery before back over at Debbie.
"I'm retired, Deb. I don't want to spend my retirement pulling you out of jams even if you didn't ask for it."
eyes rolled at the other, he gaze fixed against her sharp nails as the blonde listened out for the child's 'parents' . why anyone would change someone who was so young was beyond her. the world was full of pain and suffering. sure rebekah had thought about it before. but children never did well with immortality. after a while, they grow up, yet are stuck within their body. mind of an elder but body of someone younger. it was torture.
rebekah would feel sorry for claudia, if she wasn't so bloody annoyong. ❝ hush child ; i will go when i know you are being looked after. your blood thirst is impressive but it needs to be kept under wraps. "
@d1eonthishill has asked ❝ fix your gaze elsewhere .ᐟ ❞ for claudia. / inbox is open .ᐟ
❛ i won't be your second choice anymore. ❜ - kimberly for tommy @d1eonthishill
"What the hell does that mean?" Tommy asked, admittedly caught off guard- he hadn't seen signs of this coming, and without knowing what exactly she felt like second choice to he had no idea how to respond. "Kim I-" he exhaled, "I don't know what you want me to say, You've always been a priority."
