The toxicity of destiny bros on twitter is so gross. It really sucks in a game where so much of the actual game/lore is based on some really beautiful things like overcoming trauma, not giving into hatred, accepting others and so much more that gamer bros™️ continue to just make it about shooting things, “git gud” mentality, and being as ignorant as possible. One of the writers literally confirmed he wrote Osiris and Saint as gay and still the majority cishet male player base are falling on swords to deny that gay men could possible exist in a game they see as hyper masculine-hero complex game (which could not be further than the truth of what Destiny is actually about)
