Destination

“This tour’s weird,” Gorgug says as she starts tuning her bass. “Not, like, in a bad way. It’s just weird.”

“You’re telling me,” Fig mumbles. “I thought we’d be, like, hanging out on a real boat.”

Happy @d20bigbang day!!!!!! It’s been so much fun working with @waveridden on this they’re so cool and their writing is just beautiful (you should also read their Big Bang fic from last year as well) and I’m so excited for you to follow the Phoenix tour! It’s truly been a joy and a pleasure to work on.

Image two is of Gorgug and Fig on a small, brown boat, with ‘fig and the sig figs’ written in light blue across it. Fig is sitting in the boat with her eyes closed, playing her bass and smiling slightly. She wears a light purple sundress, dark combat boots and lots of bracelets and necklaces. Her hair is braided loosely and falls over her right shoulder. Gorgug is standing behind her rowing the boat, he wears long denim shorts and a cropped tank top with a crab on it. He looks nervously off to the side at an indigo hand reaching out of the water.

Image three is of Fig and Gorgug pointing at a blue map on a wooden table. At the top right of the poster is a cracked compass and towards the bottom right are two blue pens. Fig’s hand is in the bottom left. She has red pointed nails and two rings on her outstretched finger. On her wrist are the same bracelets as in the first poster, one wrapped leather and a green, beaded friendship bracelet. Gorgug’s hand is slightly bigger, reaching across from the opposite corner. He has chipped black nail polish on and a beaded, red bracelet that matches the one Fig wears. At the top of the poster ‘The Sig Figs’ is written in pink, a dotted line leading from the text at the top to more text at the bottom that reads ‘Live in Spyre The Phoenix Tour.’

Image four is of Fig and Ayda sitting on a crows nest platform. The sky is dark blue and cloudy but they are lit by the warm orange glow of Ayda’s wings. Fig is in a skirt and corset top with a white shirt under it. She has her legs over the edge and has one arm wrapped around Ayda’s waist. Ayda is in a leather jacket with pins on the lapel, a white shirt with a short collar and red trousers pushed up to the knee. One of her bird legs rests up on the ledge and the other is tucked under her. Her wings and hair are made of flame, and the right side of her body is covered in glowing tattoos. In the bottom right text reads ‘Fig and the Sig Figs present… Firelight’.

Image five is of a series of picture frames on a wall, each showing a different selection of objects. The objects include two red guitar picks, two candles dripping wax, a photo of a house with a blurred figure standing next to it, a range of jewelry, a teacup covered in red moss and glass bottles. On the left side is an arched frame which Gorgug is inside, looking alarmed and holding the outside edge of it. In the top right a banner is hung that says ‘The Sig Figs’ surrounded by hearts. Finally it’s @d20bigbang reveal day!!! I wanted to create character introduction / splash screens for each bad kids appearance in the fic, with slight unreality/dream vibes. Watch out for the little Kalina hints.
