What are some pairings in khr that you can see being executed well in canon?:O
I know they’re canon but Ryohei and Hana are pretty cool. The only thing you get for this ship in canon is a photo in the future and a mountain of fanon. We all know Amano loves a good plot hole or random thing tossed in never to be spoken about again but this was actually a nice one. We know Hana likes older guys because she thinks they’re mature which speaks volumes about Hana at 14. Like any 14 year old being older = mature to her so it’s funny she ends up with the older guy who’s also the most immature.
6918 is a given
Whether you explore them as good friends in the way that hibari and Mukuro have good friends or as something more, it’s interesting. Both of these characters operate the same in their respective lives. They choose to be standoff-ish and come across as not needing theirs underlings while always stepping in conveniently when they need an Ally. They have a mutual respect for each other not to mention the obsession with each other’s strength that’s different from their curiosity around Tsuna’s. Two sides of the same coin and they’d be on better or worse grounds finding that out.
Idk any others off the top of my head but I think fanon pairings done well will always work in canon. They explore relationships with what they’re given and honestly have some pretty interesting aspects platonic or romantic. It’s fun to see when it’s leaning more towards canon so it feels realistic. But even when it doesn’t it’s still fun sometimes.
