It’s summer time and my cat is barking

A cover, of sorts, for a historical fantasy vampire AU I’m writing for funsies, featuring my character Ji-Hun (the non-vampire) and @sjazna‘s Byong-Ho (the vampire, i.e. the one with glowy eyes and terrible complexion).

I am very happy with how it turned out!

... and yes, while Ji-Hun might look small, he is definitely the one in charge x’D

And old pose sketch I finally dusted off and finished. The blond one is my Ji-Hun and the blue-haired one is @sjazna‘s Byong-Ho. As always, I’m having loads of fun with their size difference.

I’m trying to figure out quick ways to shade things and it’s... not the best, but I’m getting there.

Ji-Hun being EXTRA fancy. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of drawing him. He’s just so wonderfully versatile.

This was one of those drawings where I challenged myself to try new things instead of repeating the same old light and colour scheme. And I’m very happy that I did. Not just because of the finished result, but because I really enjoyed the process of making it, too.

Two simple pictures I drew last year to make fun of the HILARIOUS size difference between Ji-Hun (the smaller one, belongs to me) and Byong-Ho (the taller one, belongs to @sjazna ). With extra focus on their hands in comparison to the other’s waist.

Funnily enough, Ji-Hun isn’t even particularly short, Byong-Ho just happens to be tall. They’re 179 cm (5′10) and 187 cm (6′1) respectively. Ji-Hun DOES have very tiny hands and a ridiculously small waist, though.

When your bicep is as thick as your tiny boyfriend’s thigh, but your tiny boyfriend is also 100% the one in charge. And not in a power bottom or sexy kind of way — he just genuinely is the more dominant and capable of the two.
