I tried to raise my voice on this issue a couple of weeks ago. But most people interpreted my concerns with the attitude of certain self-proclaimed “feminists” on tumblr, as being anti-feminist and patriarchal. And those attitudes hurt the movement..
i actually read something a bit ago about men calling themselves feminists and may be why you received that attitude. some feminists believe men should call themselves feminist allies, because men calling themselves a feminist appropriates a movement made built on female oppression. i'm not sure if that's why they interpreted your posts as anti-feminist, but it could be?
