Most banana plantation workers in Mindanao Region of the Philippines were exposed to DBCP or 1,2-Dibromo-3-chloropropane, (dibromochloropropane) better known as DBCP, is the active ingredient in the nematicide Nemagon, also known as Fumazone. I am not really familiar with the inclusive dates where it was being used and when it was banned.
