SHANKS
Hi, Thank you all for existing and being great. The reason I am making this post is because we have reached 500 FOLLOWERS! Wether you found me from my previous blog, or recently discovered me, I’d like to say Thank you for clicking that button, and dealing with my jokes on your dashboard.
My previous blog was sadly deleted by accident. So this is the rebirth of dabblingdeaf. I started DabblingDeaf (first known as ShitDeafKidsSay) new years day 2014. And It was a deaf humor blog. I am still trying to get back some of the posts I had. The death of that blog was sad, I wasn’t paying attention while deleting one of the blogs I didn’t use. I accidentally ended up deleting ALL of my blogs. This is why you shouldn’t make delete buttons big and red.
But I have been working hard to rebuild this blog again. It’s been a tough job, but I want to add a brighter side to the Deaf community, and make people like you laugh.
As I promised, I will have a surprise for you guys very soon. Several of you have wanted a video of me, so I will be delivering a video very soon. It should be up by the end of this month!
And as I also promised, there will be another surprise when 901 followers is reached. (That is how many my old DabblingDeaf blog had).
Teachers these days...
I’m deaf, and I wondered If I were a singer, (A deaf musician)
I’d be on stage rockin out while my fans will be rocking along with me. Then in the middle of my song, the well known chorus, I stop singing and I’d say “Lemme hear you sing!”....I don’t get any response? What? I pause on stage and start to question everythi.....
Oh shit, I remember now. I’m deaf....
I can’t hear them sing.
Then I continue to rock out.
I’m deaf, and when I was little and I’d get in trouble my dad would get angry and tried to give me the silent treatment…
It wasn’t very effective.
Hello! Read this for details on the “new” blog. Important stuff yo.
As you know, I accidentally deleted my dabbling deaf, and my personal blog by accident. I wasn’t paying attention close enough, and deleted all of my blogs because I failed to read short simple labels. I lost every single post along with all the notes, and all 901 of my followers.
But welcome back! This blog is a deaf culture blog, but the lighter side of it. I post jokes, puns, memes, poke fun at the “struggles” we face, and crack jokes about myself and my experiences. I promise, it’s a good time. Since Deaf topics have seemed so heavy, I wanted to raise it back up and turns some smiles on.
So, I’m hoping to build this thing back up. I will be posting new jokes, some old jokes, and a new surprise i planned to show you before the unfortunate death of this blog.
I decided if I get back at least 500 of you, I will release my surprise.
If I get 901 followers back, I will do another surprise that I will decide. (it’ll be cool, i promise)
Share with your friends and followers!!! If you give me a shoutout, (then tell me about it in my ask) then I will give you a special personal surprise. :)
If you’re reading this, THANK YOU FOR COMING BACK YOU WONDERFUL HUMAN THING. <3
Thank you,
love, Dabbling deaf
If I make a deaf joke
Laugh, because it’s a joke and it’s supposed to be funny. A lot of people feel bad about laughing at them. But guys, I’m just making fun of myself.
Just laugh like it’s the funniest joke you’ve ever heard.
Because I’d sure like to hear a joke.
