Seeing one of the posts from my friend @cm_kings made me think about sharing this. I left this nail out and it got wet and here is what it looks like now. Kinda bummed me out, but I figured I'd use it as a learning tool, so here we go. Long story short, for everyone who dabs and uses Titanium nails, one thing to keep in mind is if you see any of this white build-up in the nail, dont use it! This can happen in one of two ways, one being exposed to the elements for a long period of time, or by torching the nail till it's cherry red. Once Titanium reaches that temperature (1,300°F) the metal can literally start to combust, and go through oxidation. The white residue is the result of that, making Titanium dioxide. Titanium Dioxide is not a joke, and can cause several respiratory problems, so best avoid it.
