yesterday I helped build a house with other Naropa students and Habitat for Humanity volunteers

we worked from 8:45am-4pm (on 4 hours of sleep for me)

and it was hard and a lot of fun, but i was so proud of myself for doing things i never thought i could/would do

when they taught us how to use a nail gun (while up on ladders!) and the saw, I was like ...ok i just won't do those jobs... but i did them and i showed myself i don't give myself enough credit and i am more cautious than i need to be, and i'm stronger than i think i am!

so, did something good for someone else, but also for myself

definitely a great day and i am so sore

and i realized how much construction workers really should get paid
