I want an FFXV fic where something something de-aged baby MT Prompto, except it’s small child Prom instead of literal baby, and last he remembers he was with Cor (AKA his favorite person and the one who rescued him from the Bad Place and also the one who introduced him to chocobos, creating a lifelong obsession that would never fade even upon pain of death and Gladio)
Baby Prom who doesn't say a word until Cor shows up, then he's shrieking for HIS Cor, HALP, YOU TOLD ME NOT TO GO WITH STRANGERS AND THERE'S STARNGERS AND NO CHOCOBOS
(Honestly, Noct and the others should have tried pulling out a chocobo. Would've probably gotten past Cor's "Do Not Talk To Strangers At All Ever Without Me Saying Okay" rule a lot quicker)
The other Chocobros who are SO suspicious about why their tiny, clearly abused (but healing??) friend knows, loves and adores Cor when last they checked they first met during the obligatory background checks
Cor who is suddenly having intense flashbacks to the tiny child he rescued and fell in love with and had to give up, and suddenly feeling the repressed overprotective Papa Cor instincts rear up to 1000. He is in full Dad mode. There is no escape.
Something something angst, something something fluff and Dad!Cor. Prom actually having concrete memories of his MT and subsequent Cor days as an adult is debatable but clearly the chocobos if nothing else made an impression.
(Bonus points if Cor made a pit stop in Hammerhead so Cid and Cindy actually knew tiny baby Prom. This was post chocobo introduction, so the reason Cindy didn't recognize him at first was a: small children, and b: Prompto was refusing to wear anything but his chocobo memorabilia while he was there, and as such was going by a truly ridiculous amount of chocobo-themed nicknames (chocobean, chocochick, bobo, etc). Cid DID recognize him, but has enough tact not to bring it up, especially when Prom himself wasn't acknowledging it directly.)
