How do you see angel, ez & Miguel reacting to their lady giving birth while they’re in the room.
Doesn’t matter how many books he’s read or classes he’s been to, he’s shitting bricks as soon as you actually start giving birth. He loves you more than anything and he never wants to see you in pain. Having to sit there helpless while you’re in pain, especially knowing that he played a part in his breaks his heart. He wants to meet his kid and loves them unconditionally of course, but in that moment, he would give anything to take that pain away from you. He hates that you’re hurting and he’s right there by your side, your hand in between his as he holds it to his lips. He leaves kiss after kiss, alternating between sitting beside you to hold your hand and standing by your head, leaning down to rest his head against yours. He whispers to you constantly, telling you how good you’re doing, how proud of you he is, how special and magical you are. He’s right there the entire time. He’s more concerned with comforting you then he is actually watching the birth if that makes sense. He’s nervous, worried, and frustrated at your pain. He’ll get to be with his child for the rest of his life but right then he feels you need him most. So he’ll be right there until the baby is out and its time for him to cut the cord. He doesn’t leave you alone for a second, even if you ask. He’ll just move away slightly and be quiet, but he’s not going anywhere.
He’s like a kid on Christmas morning. He puts his faith in whoever is doing the delivery and is bouncing between watching the birth and looking after you. He gives you his space and is your rock. He’s calm and collected, soothing you and helping you through it. He recites your favorite poems to you quietly to give you something to focus on if you want. He looks after you physically as well, holding a cool cloth to your forehead, putting your hair up for you if you have it long enough to be bothersome, rolling the sleeves of your gown up if you’re hot. He’s fascinated with watching the first as well. He’s in awe of how strong you are and how your body is bringing an entirely new life into the world. He’ll give you space if you ask for it but is still checking in constantly.
He’s relatively calm. He’s got you in the best birthing center that money can reserve. He’s got multiple doctors and midwives there just in case. He’s making sure that you’re as relaxed and peaceful as possible. He’s already made it known that he is not to be disturbed under any circumstances. Any. His full attention is on you for the most part, but he is observant, making sure that everyone is doing their job and looking after you properly. He treats you like absolute royalty the entire time. If you want some space, he’ll go down to watch the actual birth, mesmerized by now your body is giving him this gift. He checks in with the staff as well, cracking jokes to help them calm down as well. Knowing that they’re helping deliver a cartel leader's son, you’re treated as well as they possibly can manage but Miguel wants to make sure that they are still comfortable enough to do their jobs. Probably has Nestor pick up donuts and coffee for them.
