I think you’ve talked about these individually but how cuddly/physical touch prone are the dads respectively

on a scale of one to ten...

cale: 8. see what i did there.

tyson: 9.5. will cuddle but needs at least like an hour or two to himself every day.

nate: 3. not a physical touch guy. not a hug guy. only cuddles penny cause he knows she likes it.

nolan: 1. tolerates cuddles because it makes princess feel good and bc most of the time it gets gemma to stop crying. but he would rather sit on the couch by himself.

phillip: 6. he loves a good cuddle sesh with charlie girl, but after thirty minutes he's like "alright lets move on"

sidney: 10. will snuggle with the girls (mom included) all day if they'd let him.

That tik tok leads me to this question, what do the kids wanna be for Halloween and which guys are willing to do the family costumes ?

cale makar & co 10000% do family costumes. one year mom is a cheerleader (obv) and dad is like a basketball player or something with milo as the mascot. they HAVE to do the incredibles. when babygirl comes along they do zoo keepers and animals. cute shit.

princess BEGS nolan to do at least something themed but he’s not budging. so princess and gemma do costumes and nolan is just there to take pictures and hold gemma when she gets tired. and every day is halloween for gemma considering she wears a different princess dress every day so she could be one thing in the morning and another at night, who knows.

penny wants to go as a fairy every year. she wears those little wings out until they fall apart. and depending on if she’s with nate or her mom she’ll get her parents to try and dress up.

tyson and carter dress up together every year and cj gets to pick. one year it’s onesies, the next it’s super heroes, the next it’s ghost busters. halloween with the josts is vert fun.

the twins do not coordinate at all (relief on sidneys part he can finally tell them apart) so nelly is like a fairy or princess, meanwhile nora is like a bank robber lmao

charlie doesn’t dress up that much, just like a dress and some crocs. grubi doesn’t dress up but he will carry her candy and wand for her 100%

What do you think the dads would say when the kids try to sleep in their parents beds

cale: is fine the first few times, but after the 6th time cale is like "alright bud :) u have ur own bed that you can sleep in :)" and he just takes him to his own bed over and over until he stays. cale doesn't get much sleep that first night.

nate: listen he says she isn't allowed to sleep in his bed. tells everyone that. but penny sleeps in his bed 4 days out of 7. sometimes five when she can sneak in there. he knows she has to sleep in her own big girl bed, that it probably causes problems at her mom's house, but damn if she doesn't look so cute. he works her down to just a couple nights a week instead of four. but. yk. there are times when she's sick...

tyson: he lets him fall asleep there but once he's out tyson carries him back to his own bed. rarely does it happen, but there's a few weeks after carters adoption where he's a little skiddish at night so when he sneaks into mom and dad's room tyson lets it slide.

phillip: as much as he loves charlie girl. he doesn't really like her sleeping where he does. he's fine with her laying in there, but when bedtime comes she's gotta go. charlotte is pretty good at sleeping in her own bed, plus her room has the nice sky lights and mom and dad's room don't ;)

sidney: he doesn't care honestly. if his baby girls wanna cuddle with him he'll let them. i feel like nelly would, but nora wants to sleep in her own bed. eventually sidney has to get her to start going to her own bed but those first few times he's like 🥰

(eventually pls i'm begging) freddie: that first time he's okay with, but after that he's like "alright gotta go to your own bed now" cause yk the big cuddly man needs :) time :) with his wife

can i ask what some of the kids look like. like whose hair eyes etc…..

sure! i mean obv they're not real, but also like reader would be a parent in all of these (besides dad!nate) so like skin tone or whatever is like. up to you. in the world of imagination.

but i would def say that milo is a carbon copy. huge kid. light brown hair, blue eyes, those cute ass rosy cheeks. when milo gets older he looks like a mix of both mom and dad for sure.

penny looks like her mom (sarah, also fake) so she most likely would have like blonde hair or something, i'm thinking freckles? also she has nate's eyes. and smile.

charlotte looks exactly like her dad. has his deep brown eyes, his thick brown hair, but in the face and everything i would venture to say she looks like mom.

nelly and nora would take after sid too. the dark hair and brown eyes, those strong crosby genes would just take over. and cash? yeah, once again, those damn crosby genes. the girls would grow up to look apart from each other and be more individuals. cash stays the same. he just gets bigger.

carter is adopted, but i was picturing tan skin (i didn't really want to specify ethnicity) and dark brown eyes, but also a big kid. he def outgrows tyson by a good three or four inches.

though he is new, blaze andersen is the exact carbon copy of sidney. and talk about a huge kid, bc he's an andersen he is 1) going to have red hair and 2) going to be Large. everyone thinks he's in school and fred is like "no :) he's just in kindergarten :,)"

who are the kid’s favorite parent?

obviously pennys is nate, she doesnt really have a choice…

actually i don't think nate would be penny's favorite. i mean, she has like, four parents. and she loves them all, but i honestly don't think nate is her fav. i mean, sarah is the only one who can do the braided pig tails...

if milo had to choose. he'd choose cale. he LOVES momma don't get me wrong, but he's just such a daddy's boy he can't help himself.

gemma is also a big nolan fan. even though she takes after princess in basically everything (mini material gorl), she loves dad. she always prefers to sit on the couch and cuddle with him rather than mom, she prefers him reading bed time stories, him doing bath time, etc. since gemma is a daddy's girl, hazel has to be a momma's girl. once again she does take after mom, hazel looks more like dad though. but she's a mommas girl for sure. then we have blair: she's a feisty little thing, has an attitude that's definitely from mom BUT she's a daddy's girl.

honestly i believe that nelly and nora are both daddy's girls. they have fought numerous times on who gets to sit in his lap. cash is a mommas boy through and through.

charlie girl IS THE DEFINITION of a daddy’s girl. not only does she look an act like him, she’s obsessed with him.

carter doesn’t have a preference. loves both mom and dad equally.

and since we already have a name: blaze loves dad (canon: freddie has all boys and he keeps trying for a girl but they all come out boys).

dad!grubi literally has never been more in love with you and he shows it. the first thing he did after the baby was born was kiss your forehead and tell you how strong you are. he has no problem taking the night shift, even after a full day of hockey, and when the baby needs you he’s immediately running down to the kitchen to get you water and a snack. the first thing he does when he walks in the door is kisses you and says he loves you, then he’s asking for his baby and recounting his day. as much as he loves showing off his baby he also knows your tells when you’re getting tired or stressed out and he’s immediately thanking everyone for stopping by and ushering them out so he can cuddle up in bed with his baby, and his pup and the love of his life.

THIS 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 bro i might have to write a fic about this. dont tempt me. he is in love with baby grubi, he’s in love with the family he now has with you. the dog included. he cherishes the mornings before he has to leave where it’s all four of you laying in bed together. maybe you’re feeding the baby and he’s just in awe. he can’t believe, he can’t wrap his head around that this is his life. and he loves it. which makes leaving for a few days at a time even harder because he so wants baby grubi to be a daddy’s girl/boy and when he is gone a lot it’s hard for that to happen. but he knows one thing, and that is he is wrapped around their finger and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

whatever you do, do NOT think about grubi carrying charlotte around while he’s doing random stuff. he’s got her wrapped in a baby wrap, her cheek pressed against his bare chest as she sleeps and he’s still explaining to her the process of making coffee or something because of course he is

IN A SWADDLE. he walks around the house w her in a swaddle. it's like, idk, seven in the morning and he's getting his stuff ready for practice and he went to go check on the sweet girl and she was awake. so he changed her, fed her, and he was like "cmon lets go get ready for practice" and she's looking up at him w those big brown eyes that match his while he's explaining how to make eggs and coffee. i'm gonna cry

milo: idk i think we said baseball? i dont remember lol

penny: she would despise playing sports. doesn’t even like dance.

carter: we haven’t discussed it but how about he gives hockey a shot?

charolotte: also haven’t discussed it, what do u guys think for our girl (that we don’t talk about enough)?
