Richard has two sons, a 5 year old boy called Gabriel but they just call him Gabe and a 9 month old called Rhys. They are half Welsh (their mother is Welsh) and lived in Cardiff but moved to London to be closer to Richard and because she got a good paying job at the hospital. (Based post cannon)
Hi love! Can I request a dad! Richard Madden x reader blurb? Richard and the reader have a child together (around 3 years old). Richard is around more babies recently/people (like he’s in the middle of promoting a movie) keep asking him about more kids and he starts to get baby fever. He approaches the reader about it but she’s concerned bc of his busy schedule? TIA ❤️😘 can even be a David buff dad! blurb too with similar circumstances whatever you fancy.
I liked writing this one ngl

“I met Daniel’s kid today,” Richard mentioned as him and his wife walked around the kitchen, preparing dinner together.
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah - a little boy called Jacob, but they call him Jake,” he confirmed.
“Aw, that’s cute,” Y/N responded.
“Yeah - I was thinking Nina would get along well with him - he’s about a year younger than her,” he added, subconsciously glancing through at his daughter who was playing in the living room.
“Well you could talk to Dan about setting up a playdate for them,” Y/N suggested, smiling at her husband.
“Yeah but what if… what if Nina had a constant playdate?” Richard cringed at his words. Y/N stared at him for a moment before collapsing into laughter.
“Are you suggesting we marry our three year old daughter off already?”
“No! I just mean… what if we had another?”
“Another-another baby?” Y/N repeated, her hand slipping just a little on the knife she was using to chop up the carrots.” Richard walked over to her, taking the knife from her hands.
“I think we’re ready,” Richard confirmed, placing his hands on her arms and looking at her intently.
“I don’t know Rich,” Y/N sighed, biting her lip. “I mean… with your filming schedule… all your upcoming projects… I don’t think that it’s the right time just yet.”
At that moment, Nina came rushing into the room, holding her dolls and beaming.
“Daddy! Daddy look!”
“Hey, darling,” Richard beamed, sweeping his daughter up into his arms.
“Will you play with me?” She asked.
“After dinner, sweetheart, I’m helping Mummy right now,” Richard glanced over at Y/N, who was watching them with a soft expression on her face. “You know, if we had another then Nina would always have someone to play with.”
Y/N couldn’t stop the gentle laughter that Richard’s words brought out and she shook her head, smiling at her little family.
“Another what?” Nina asked, thoughts of play immediately leaving her mind as she looked inquisitively at her father, who readjusted his hold on her.
“Another baby - what d’ya think, Nina, do you fancy being an older sister?”
Nina seemed to think carefully about the question.
“Only if you love them less than me,” Richard and Y/N stared at her for a moment before bursting out laughing, Y/N crossing the room to run her hands through her daughter’s messy hair.
“What if we loved you equally?” Richard offered. “Because that’s what would happen.”
“Okay,” Nina agreed after a moment, cuddling closer into her father’s chest.
Richard met Y/N’s eyes over the top of Nina’s head and Y/N sighed and nodded.
Summary: Taron and Richard take their baby girl home and start a new chapter in their life; they’re parents now.

@queenmerabby was asking for some fluff, since you loved the baby series so much here’s another part for you ;)
------------
When Taron comes home from work this day he is extremely excited, knowing they would get a call today for their baby.
"Rich?" he asks and smiles brightly when his husband appears in front of him.
"Are you ready to get her?" he asks cheeringly.
Richard grabs him by the waist and presses a soft kiss onto his lips. "I have a surprise for you."
"Really?" Taron asks and Richard nods. He leads him into the living room where a little baby seat is standing on the table. T looks at him questioning.
"They called me this morning to pick her up." Rich says and Taron turns around fast.
"Really?" his voice gets excited and he looks at Richard with big hopeful eyes.
"Yes!" Rich says happily and smiles brightly. "We're having a baby now." Taron cheers and wraps him into a tight hug. "You wanna see her?"
T pulls back and his eyes wide in shock. "She's already here?" he whispers not believing his words.
"Yes." Richard whispers back and sees the joy in Taron’s eyes. "Come on." he says and takes him by the hand, leading him into their bedroom.
And there she is, lying on a little blanket in the middle of the bed. She looks ridiculously tiny and is the purest thing Taron has ever seen. T stands still a bit overwhelmed and looks at her, scared to do anything that makes her cry. Rich walks over to the bed and sits down on her side. He holds his hand out for Taron to join him. "Oh no, we should let her sleep. I can still-"
Richards face softens when he sees how insecure and intimidated Taron suddenly got. "Come here." he says softly and pats his lap. Taron comes over slowly and sits down next to him, his eyes on the little babygirl in front of him. Richard takes his hand into his and leads it to the baby's face. T strokes carefully over her cheek and his heart swells with luck and love for the little girl.
"My god, she's so tiny. More than I remembered." he whispers and leans down closer to his baby, fondling over her head.
"So, what are we going to call her now?" T asks and continues fondling her head gently.
The home didn't name the baby and reasoned it with the fact that she's only three months old and maybe someone would adopt her early. Which happened but T and Rich still thought it was strange.
"I'm quite happy with your newest addition to the list." Richard admits smiling. "Emilia is a cute name."
Taron looks up smiling wide.
"Yeah?" he watches Richard adoringly and looks down at her. "Emilia Madden. I love that."
"You're sure you wanna give her my last name?" Rich asks and smirks at him, moved by his little action.
T looks up and raises his eyebrows. "You wanna make her a Emilia Egerton? Please don't." he starts giggling and grabs his hand squeezing it. "I already took your name as my second last name. Our daughter should have the one that connects her to both."
Rich nods agreeing and fondles over Taron’s fluffy hair lovingly. Suddenly the little one whines and opens her eyes. She starts crying and T flinches surprised. But Richard already lifts her up carefully into his arms and walks around with her, rocking her softly. "Hey, it's alright. I'm here, sweetie." he says in a soft calm voice T only heard a few times before when he was extremely cheesy.
Taron watches him calming down their daughter and his heart beats faster. Richard would be an amazing father to their little girl, he could sense that easily. It did something to him seeing his husband carrying her. This here was his little family that no one would take away from him. He would take care of it.
Emilia stops crying and looks up to Richard with big blue eyes.
"Yeah that's better." he tells her lovingly. "You're safe now, Emmy."
Taron’s heart swells and he realizes once more how fucking much he loves Richard. His husband sits down next to him and Taron looks at his little daughter, curled up in Richard’s arms.
"You wanna hold her?" Richard asks and T looks at him nodding timidly. Rich makes sure that she's lying safe on his arms and watches Taron adoringly. His husband couldn't really believe his eyes as soon as he held her. He sees the tears in his eyes, full of proud and love for his little girl.
"Oh my god, she's so beautiful." he whispers and his whole face softens looking at her. "Look at her blue eyes, she's gonna make me as weak as you do when you want something." he chuckles a bit and looks at Richard with tears in his eyes. "Thank you for saying yes when I wanted a little baby."
Richard sits closer to him and wraps his arm around him. "Oh love." he kisses him on his temple and cuddles against him. "How could I say no to such an idea?"
"Are you sure we adopted her? I mean look at her eyes!" Taron says and giggles looking at Rich.
"I'm gonna show you something that she could have from you easily." Richard says and strokes over his baby's belly. He tickles her softly and the little girl makes a sweet little sound and smiles. Rich’s hand wanders to her face and he softly strokes over her cheeks. "Look at the dimples, T. Her smile is as beautiful as yours and goes up straight to her eyes."
Taron smiles warmly and looks down at her again. "She is perfect." he whispers and bops her nose carefully making her smile and kick her feet happily. His stomach growls and he contorts his face a bit.
"You're hungry?" Rich asks chuckling and Taron nods. "When did you eat something today?"
"Phew, around 6am I think." T answers laughing.
Richard looks at his watch and raises his eyebrows. "It's 4pm. That's ten hours. I'm gonna make you something."
"Rich, it's okay I'll –“
"No. Ten hours are enough to let you starve. Don't care if you're working on set or not." Rich protests and smiles warmly.
Taron gives in and nods as his stomach growls again. "Rich? I'm going to eat but –“
"Don't worry, love. I'll make you a tasty salad. No fried chicken." he says and winks at him. He knew that Taron needed to watch his weight and what he eats for the role he was playing at the moment.
"Don't mention that! I miss it." he groans and chuckles when Rich rolls his eyes playfully.
-
A bit later Taron enjoys his salad that's full of different types of vegetables, a bit light cheese and some chicken. If Richard had one hidden talent it was definitely making something tasty with the most simple things. T watches his husband who's having Emilia on his lap, sitting now. She looks around curiously and from time to time she smashes her tiny hands onto the table interrupting T and Rich's conversation.
Taron reaches out for her with his right hand and strokes over her hand with his finger. Before he can react Emilia wraps her tiny fingers around his ring finger.
Taron chuckles and looks at her adoringly. "Lovely, I can't eat when you're holding my finger." he tries softly but Emilia couldn't care less and holds him tight a bright smile on her face. He looks up to Rich who watches him with a smirk. T carefully tries to remove his finger from her grip but sees how she frowns and so he stops. "Ugh fine."
Rich laughs at him when he tries to eat with his left hand, unable to hold the fork and half of it falling back into his bowl. T pouts at him and braces his head on his free hand looking at his daughter. "Oh come here." Rich leans over the table and gets the bowl and his fork. He puts some of the salad on it and starts feeding Taron over the table with it. T hums happily and takes the fork into his mouth.
Taron who already changed into a shirt and his boxers is carrying his daughter upstairs after getting a bottle of warm milk for her. He gets in their bedroom and sits down on the bed changing her position and lying her across his one arm. He brings the bottle to her mouth and lets her taste it.
As soon as she recognizes that she gets fed now, she wraps her tiny hands around the bottle and one lies on Taron's. She drinks happily and looks up to him with her big blue eyes.
Richard is in the bathroom getting ready for bed and takes a step back from the sink to see if T is back. When he sees him his heart warms. Seeing him so gentle with the little girl makes him fall in love with him all over again. His husband was the absolute softest when he was around children anyway, but this here was his daughter now.
T looks into her blue eyes adoringly and can't really believe that this little baby here was his daughter from now on. "I'm gonna protect you at all costs." he whispers and lets her take another sip of the milk. "You won't ever be left alone again, I promise." he leans down and gives her a kiss on her forehead making the little girl letting out cute sounds and a bright smile appear on her face.
She finished her bottle and Taron sits back, resting against the pillows with her lying on his torso. The little girl grabs his shirt and rests her head on his chest, happy and tired. "Let's wait for your dad, then we can go to sleep." he tells her and fondles over her head softly. T starts humming a melody and the little baby falls asleep fast on his chest.
Richard gets into bed and looks down at her smiling. "Seems she liked you singing her to sleep." he sits next to him and looks at him full of love.
Taron catches his gaze and smiles softly. "I love you." he says and stares deeply into the beautiful blue eyes he calls his safe place.
"I love you too." Rich says and lies his hand on his cheek before kissing him softly.
Taron lies down Emilia in her baby crib and covers her feet with a little blanket. "Sleep well, baby girl." he whispers and places a soft tiny kiss onto her forehead.
Richard pulls him into his arms, cuddling him lovingly and pulling up the blanket over their bodies. He looks down at Taron and sees the tears in his eyes. "Love?"
"I'm sorry.." he giggles softly. "I'm just so happy right now. I always wanted to have kids and now she's finally here."
"Oh you softie." Richard giggles and cups his face lovingly.
"Thank you for this." he says and smiles at him, pure love in his eyes.
"No, thank you." he says softly and kisses him good night.
can you do a richard madden imagine where you come home from work or just wake up and you see him with your and his kid singing along to baby shark or any other songs like that
You wake up the sound of the song “baby shark” being played on the floor below you, blaring through your tv speakers but quickly being paused by Richard, who took the remote out of your 3 year old son's hand.
“To loud buddy, mommy’s sleeping!” You hear Richard chuckle, to which your son precedes to ask, “can we still sing if we sing quiet daddy?”
“Of course bub” he replies unpausing the video, you faintly hearing baby shark in the background.
On any other occasion you would’ve taken the opportunity to stay in bed and sleep, but you need to see this cuteness- hearing Richard sing baby shark isn’t enough, you just need to see this.
You quietly walk down the stairs and stand back from the living room, watching your son and Richard sit in front of the tv singing, him in his father's lap.
“Daddy shark do do do” Richard bounces his son him his lap as they sing together and giggle.
You stood there and watched for about 5 minutes, unaware of how much your son liked this song and how many times they are going to keep replaying it.
You finally can’t hold back anymore when you begin to giggle at all the adorableness and father son moments that are going on right now, when they both notice you’re there.
“Well there’s our mommy shark” Richard says standing up, your son doing the same and running over to you to hug you. “Sorry we woke you up” he places a good morning kiss on your lips. “Little dude got to the volume button before I could” he smiles down looking at him as your son giggles
“Don’t worry about it, I’m really glad I woke up or I would’ve missed it. Who knew Richard Madden knew all the words to baby shark? I might have to tell the magazines about that one” you jokingly say, him placing a hand on his chest and making a shocked face, pretending to be offended. “You would never!”
“Yeah mommy never!” Your son yells up at you guys causing you both to laugh. “Hush little guy, you don’t even know what you’re agreeing with” you pick him up and boop his nose.
“You always agree with daddy thought don’t you bud” Richard smiles putting a hand out to high five him. “Yeah!” He high fives back. “That’s right kiddo, take that mommy!” Richard sticks his tongue out at you
“Hm, would you side with mommy if she made you pancakes right now?” You ask to which your sons face lights up. “Pancakes! Yeah! I’m with mommy now!”
“That’s right kiddo, take that daddy!” You say jokingly, sticking your tongue out to mock Richard before placing your son down and heading to the kitchen to make breakfast.
You’re mixing up some pancakes when your son asks if he can play some music while he waits, to which you of course tell him yes, and he quickly hands Richard the remote. “Baby shark!” Your son yells out with a big grin, Richard playing it, not having the heart to ever tell him no.
You watch your son dance and sing along to the song as Richard walks over to you and complains. “I think I’d rather get eaten by a shark then hear this song one more time” he whines
“But it’s worth it for the happiness it brings him” You smile. “I suppose that's true. We created one cute kid” Richard chuckles before calling out “daddy sharks gonna get you!” And runs over to your son, picking him up and tightly hugging him.
No matter what you have to do, it’s always worth it in yours and Richards eyes if it makes your son happy, but you were so glad once you put him to bed for the night. You love him and do anything for him, even if it means listening to baby shark on repeat for hours all day to the point where Richard is considering telling him the song was removed from the Internet, but that doesn’t mean you weren’t so thankful for bedtime.
You and Richard fall back into bed together when Richard groans, “I’m so glad I don’t have to hear that song again for the night” to which you agree. “I’m with you on that one. How many hours until we have to deal with that again?” You ask
“I don’t even want to count, I don’t want to know. Let’s just sleep, I’m exhausted” Richard says closing his eyes, and humming the song baby shark to put him asleep, you soon after doing the same.
A lovely anon prompted me with halloween prompt #15, “Dad!AU (take the kids trick-or-treating, etc”, with Richard specifically in mind. Thank you! This is long as hell, ~1800 words, and so fluffy. Tbh I never pictured myself writing the boys as Dads, but this was really fun and I kind of loved doing it lol, so if you like it I’d be totally willing to do it again. Thanks for reading!

The text from Taron came through at 2:45, while Richard was in the middle of a meeting and trying to stop his mind from wandering to what he wanted to eat.
Gonna be a long day, love. Can you get the kids ready tonight on your own? I’ll be home before you leave, promise.
I don’t know what they’re supposed to look like, T. That was all you.
It’s foolproof, Dickie, I promise. Costume on, a little glitter on her cheeks and she’s good to go. Even easier with Jude. Stick him in the pumpkin costume and zip it up. What are you, afraid? ;)
Not afraid, just don’t want to screw it up. I’ve got it, no problem...we’ll see you tonight, love.
You could never screw anything up. Love you. x
Richard smiled a little. Taron was making it sound much less complicated than he knew it would be, and trying to give Richard a boost of confidence. He knew that whatever T had going on at work, it had to be huge, because he would never miss an opportunity to get Zoey and Jude ready to go trick-or-treating.
He had always assumed that Taron would be a Christmas kind of guy. The lights, the snow, the presents, it had Taron written all over it. So Richard was shocked to find out along the way that Taron liked Christmas just fine, but he loved Halloween.
Before the kids, it had been all about spider webs and fake witches, apple cider all month long and couples costumes that made Richard die a little inside. Halloween was when Taron could be as outlandish as he wanted, and he always dragged Richard along for the ride, introverted as he was.
After the kids were born, he focused most of his Halloween energy on them, finding their costumes, perfecting them, taking them all to every Halloween-themed event he could find throughout the month of October. It was darling, really, and it made Richard love him that much more.
And it made him nervous to try to get their kids ready for that evening.
He supposed Taron was right, Jude’s costume was self-explanatory. Jude was almost two, and stubborn, and had insisted on picking out his own costume, something that drove Taron nuts. He’d picked out the simplest costume on the rack, a smiling round pumpkin costume that required no makeup, glitter or additional wiring. Just a zipper. Richard had watched Taron’s face fall when Jude had insisted on the pumpkin.
“Don’t you want something like this?” Taron had asked, holding up a pirate costume. Richard had been able to see the cogs twisting in his mind, figuring out some way to turn it into an intricately designed zombie pirate or something.
“No, this!” Jude had been emphatic. Taron had sighed with resign.
Zoey, on the other hand, was four, dramatic, and very into fairies. Richard had watched for weeks as the two of them had bent their heads together, designing the perfect fairy costume down to the last detail. They’d then spent the better part of a week deciding what kind of makeup would go best with her outfit, trying different shades and glitter. They’d only just declared everything perfect the weekend prior, and as Richard remembered the grin on both his daughter’s face and his husband’s, he was terrified that he’d mess it up.
Still, he had to try.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
When Richard came home, the nanny smiled at him and dumped Jude into his arms. “Zoey’s coloring in the playroom. They’ve both had dinner. Have fun tonight!” He nodded at her as she left, and looked down at his son, who had snuggled into him instinctively, and headed into the playroom.
Zoey was parked at their coloring table, scribbling ferociously on a pad of paper. Her dark brown curls tumbled down to her shoulders, and he marveled at the light in her blue eyes. Their night would be chaotic, he knew: he had to pull a miracle out of his arse in the next twenty minutes with regards to Zoey’s costume; Taron was likely to come home in the next hour like a madman and start critiquing everything he’d done; by 7:45 his children would both be full of sugar and far, far from their normal bedtime. Yes, he knew their night would be chaotic, but for the moment, he could watch his daughter color, hold his son, and soak up the miracle that was his life.
He kissed the crown of Jude’s head, into the same soft brown fluff that belonged to Taron when he let his hair grow out, and rocked him back and forth. Zoey looked up and saw him there, and before he knew it, she was crashing into his legs with a hug.
“Daddy!”
“Hiya, princess,” he said, setting Jude down so he could briefly gather both of his children into his arms. “Did you have a good day?”
“Yes, we--”
Jude stepped in front of his sister and stared deep into Richard’s eyes. “Candy.”
Richard laughed and Zoey tossed him a glare. “Yes, buddy, we’re going to get candy tonight, I promise.”
“Candy now, Daddy,” Jude said, a serious look on his face.
“Soon. First we have to get you two ready!” Richard said brightly, standing up.
“We have to wait for Daddy,” Zoey said. “He has to do my makeup.”
Richard bit his lip slightly and looked at his daughter. “He has to work a little late tonight, angel, so I’m going to get you ready, but he’ll be here before we go trick-or-treating, I promise.”
Zoey’s jaw dropped. “You can’t do it! You don’t know what to do!”
“I can do it, honey, I promise.”
Zoey sighed dramatically, and in the back of Richard’s mind he feared for her teenage years, not for the first time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“No, Daddy, what are you doing?”
Richard sighed. Well, Taron had been right about one thing: getting Jude ready was a cinch. His son was running around the living room, bouncing off the walls in his pumpkin costume, screaming in the distance about candy. He had no concept of his increased circumference, and had so far knocked over (and broken) an ashtray and a vase. It didn’t matter to Richard, though; he was ready to go. He’d stuck the kid in, zipped him up, and sent him on his way.
Zoey, however, had been testing him since the moment they’d started getting ready. He’d gotten a run in two pairs of shimmery green tights, and put her skirt on backwards. He’d cursed Taron over and over again as he’d struggled to wrestle his daughter into the costume, all while she wailed like a wet cat when he did anything wrong. The costume had 12,000 pieces, it seemed like, which would have been all well and good if Taron had been putting her into it, as he’d originally planned. The skirt was made of dark green tulle and the bodice was a lighter green. It had the most ornate and intricate flower crown that Richard could remember seeing (which he’d jammed onto her head backwards, by the way) and completely impractical ballet slippers.
She was darling, his girl, but he was out of his element.
He was now holding the makeup pallet she’d shoved into his hands, his fingers pinched tightly around the eyeshadow brush as he tried to smear the right color onto her eyelids. It was dark, and heavy, and she looked like a tiny clown. He’d tried to put the glitter on subtly as she’d instructed him- “Just a little, Daddy, no, not that much!”-and failed miserably. He’d put far too much blush on her cheeks.
“I...I think that’s it,” he said nervously, and she pranced over to the mirror with a smile on her face. He watched as it dropped off, however, when she looked at herself.
“I know, angel, I’m sorry, I tried my best,” he said earnestly. They were interrupted by the sound of the front door slamming, and Zoey raced off. Richard followed sheepishly.
“Oh, my days, would you look at you!” he heard Taron say. Richard stood in the doorway and watched, Zoey gathered up in Taron’s arms. He couldn’t help but smile.
“Daddy did my makeup and he didn’t do it right!” she said.
“Oh, he certainly...tried, though, didn’t he? It’s a look, eh?” Taron kissed her cheek, then looked up and smiled at Richard, who ambled over. “You’ve got to blend the eyeshadow, love, or else she just looks like a...well, like this,” Taron said, setting Zoey back on the floor.
“I have no idea what that means, and no desire to. You’re a bloody saidst for forcing me to do this. Hello,” he said, kissing him briefly.
“I know, I’m sorry,” Taron said, the sheepish smile that Richard couldn’t resist playing on his lips. “And would you look at this! We’ve got a little pumpkin destroying the living room!” Taron said, scooping up Jude and kissing him all over his face.
“Alright, let’s go!” Richard said, gathering up the bags they’d bought for the kids to hold their loot in.
“Candy!” Jude yelled, holding tightly onto Taron’s hand, Zoey onto Richard’s as they made their way out the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
By the time they’d gotten the kids home, gotten them out of their costumes and into pajamas, wiped the clown makeup from Zoey’s face, and wrestled two sugar-laced children into their beds a hundred times, both Taron and Richard were beat. Richard padded into their bedroom where Taron was laying in bed, wearing nothing but his boxers and scrolling through his phone.
“I know you love this holiday, but by God I’m glad it only comes once a year,” Richard said, throwing himself into bed beside Taron and curling up next to him. “What are ya looking at?”
Taron started laughing, giggles coming from his belly as he stared at his phone. “Look at her!” he said, turning his phone to Richard and showing him one of the many photos he’d taken of Jude and Zoey that evening. Her blush practically glowed in the dark.
“Hey!” Richard said, fake-annoyed. “You let me go in blind, love, I had no idea what to do.”
“I know, I know. You did a wonderful job.” Taron kissed Richard, sliding his hand around the back of Richard’s neck and pressing his forehead to his. “You’re amazing.”
Richard sighed contentedly, burrowing closer to Taron, soaking in his body heat. “Listen. I love you, I love our kids, I love this life more than anything.”
“Mmm,” Taron said sleepily, closing his eyes.
“But I swear, if you ever leave me in charge of Halloween again, I’m out of here,” Richard said, a teasing grin on his face as he joined Taron in closing his eyes.
“Daddy!”
“Yeah, sweetheart?” Richard asked, easily picking up his daughter as she barrelled towards him.
“Can we get a goat?” Angelina begged, her grin taking over her entire face.
“Pardon?” Richard laughed, shooting his daughter a confused look.
“A goat! I want a goat!” Edward joined in, clapping his hands in delight.
“Mummy said I had to ask you,” Angelina explained.
“Ask me what?”
“If we can get a goat.”
“Sweetheart - why would we get a goat?” Richard asked, trying his best not to burst out laughing at the serious expression on his daughters face.
“Because they’re so cute!” Angelina exclaimed, her eyes bright.
“They are, Daddy! They’re so cute!” Edward agreed, tugging at his father’s trouser-leg.
“Why did Mummy say you had to ask me?” Richard asked, though he wasn’t looking at either of his children, instead looking at his wife who was leaning against the fence around the guinea pigs, which him and Edward had been looking at.
“Because Mummy felt bad saying no,” Y/N shrugged, grinning. “Also, Mummy’s not totally opposed to the goat idea.”
“See! Please can we get one?”
“We’re not getting a goat,” Richard stated, shaking his head.
“Why?” Edward grumbled, crossing his arms.
“Because we live in the middle of London, it wouldn’t be fair.”
The kids went silent, taking in his point before nodding in understanding.
could you please write a richard blurb where he's left alone with his baby for the first time because his wife's going out for a girl's night or something? thank you
Sure thing lovely
“I can stay in,” Y/N offered, placing her phone in her bag and shooting Richard an uncertain look as he stood, holding Nina cradled to his chest.
“Love-”
“No, I mean it Rich. You just got back from filming! I should stay in,” she took her phone back out of her bag, shaking her head.
“Love-” Richard laughed.
“No, honestly Rich. I’ll call Hannah and tell her that I can’t come out anymore,” she decided.
“Love - love, I can handle looking after our daughter,” Richard promised, moving over and placing his hand on hers to stop her from calling her friend.
“But-”
“No buts! I am semi-competent, you know?”
“It’s the ‘semi’ part of that I’m worried about,” she groaned, but there was a smile on her face.
Richard lent forwards to kiss her gently.
“You’ve been looking after Nina alone for the past three weeks. I can handle her alone for one night, love,” he promised quietly.
“Rich-”
“No, sweetheart, you’re going, okay?” Y/N bit her lip, hesitating over her answer before letting out a long breath and nodding.
“Okay.”
An hour into her dinner with her old school friends her phone rang with a text and she scrambled to have a look at it.
A smile brightened her whole face as she opened the message from Richard.
A selfie of him holding Nina as she slept soundly, a smug look on his face with the message “I told you I could do it.”
