Okay so Angel is definitely taken by surprise when you tell him you’re pregnant. His eyes get wide and he’s just frozen, to the point you start to get nervous and you have to ask him if he’s okay. Then the news registers into his brain and he tackles you with a big bear hug and he would be over the moon. He doesn’t tell you but he watches videos on pregnancy and caring for pregnant women / newborns, he want to help you as much as possible: he makes sure you’re always eating, that you have clean clothes, he rubs your feet or your shoulders if you’re felling tired. He would fulfill every craving you may have, even if he finds it distusting. And everyone makes fun of him because he is so whipped, even more now that you’re having a baby, but he’s not ashamed.
And when you start to show, he has a hand on your stomach 24/7, talks to the baby at night, loves seeing your clothes stretch over your bump. In the last months of the pregnancy, he makes sure to always spend time with you, both because he doesn’t want you to tire yourself out too much and because he wants to spend the “last moments alone” with you before the baby arrives. And when you go into labour, he has the hospital bag ready and sprints to the hospital with you. Once your baby’s born, he cries and he’s happy that his baby is healthy and that you also are.
Idk where i’m going with this but dad!Angel is the best dad around and always makes sure that his children have everything they need. We need more dad!Angel, period.
