The loss of blogs means the loss of fart stories. Some of the best fart stories I've read were from blogs I can't find now most likely because they're just gone

Like now I miss this blog post from a single dad who went to the home improvement store with his fart obsessed son, and because the day before the dad ate some greasy foods he spends the entire store trip farting. It went from the son laughing at farts to getting embarassed by his dad farting because dad was farting so much. The story ends with the dad sharting and it parallels the start of the blog where the dad talks about how the son can't figure out which fart is truly just a fart yet.

Father and son bonding over farts is such a underutilized tool in movie and tv shows.

"Raising Hope" and "Two and a Half Men" are like the only 2 shows that I can remember doing this kind of thing by showing the dad and son bonding over farts.

It doesn't always have to be a farting contest but it can be like the dad and son farting when joking around or after getting into an argument one of them farts to show that their walls are down and maybe the other person farts too.
