How do rian and deet get together in your dadmal au

Hey!

So not sure which Dadmal AU you mean so here’s how in all of them.

Normal Dadmal (where Rian is adopted but all the others are raised by Gelflings like canon) - Angry tag along Hunter and then later his dad join the party, Deet is just her normal ball of sunshine curious self and little hunter Rian is like ‘what?’ and is very confused by her but very protective...it’s a lot like a beauty and the beast style thing I think (SkekMal also get’s super protective of her when he meets her but gives awful advice kill her enemies for her give their skulls to her how about necklace out of their teeth? UrVa gives slightly better advice but skill not great)

SkekParents (with DadSo) aka Dark AU - So in this AU Deet is like the Princess they’ve known each other most of their lives but Deet is kept separate as very overprotective Skekdad, case and point she’s not allowed outside. Rian and her always have a friendship but as they grow older (and especially once they’re on the run, but even before that Rian would bring back flowers and plants for Deet after hunting trips (which are the only one she’s ever seen) as well as stories about animals (the ones they didn't murder). This is just clueless little princess and overprotective best friend/bodyguard slowly realizing each of their feelings (the figure it out when the 2 of them finally dreamfast with each other and have an ‘oh’ moment)

Skekparents (with dad GraGoh) aka the less dark AU- So in this Deet is raised by SkekGra and UrGoh and is just this extra ball of light and joy and completely catches Rian off guard from the first time they meet, he’s initially a little suspicious especially when he finds out she was raised by the heretic but slowly warms up and then becomes super protective, it takes him longer to figure out what he feels for her (probably SkekGra and UrGoh give him a push in the right direction) again I think it would be when they dreamfast and fully realize feelings. (SkeGra helped though he knows what to say to make edgy murder child realize his feelings...he was once that edgy murder child himself)

Had another thought and honestly if I’m bothering you about this you don’t have to answer. I thought that maybe deet could be with skekgra. Cause from what i remember Bree wanted to stay with the skeksis and then it could be Deet becoming like Rian’s mystic. He is full of dark from ingesting essence and she balances him. As they journey he’s like her attack dog almost and she helps him get through those bloodlust moments. Maybe even mediates when he finally meets his actually gelfling dad.

Deet and SkekGra! Oh that would be so cool.

Just Deet raised by SkekGra and UrGoh and being just the chillest ball of joy, and having the best dad’s ever (She would just have the brightest colored clothing and multicolored hair and be so extra just like her dads) and knowing how awful he Skesis are and helping Rian so much.

I love that idea of her being like his own mystic counterpart that’s such a great idea!!!

Rian there holding a dagger out and just Deet putting a hand on his and pushing it down like no come on let’s go take a deep breath play with puppets and tone down the murder.

(UrGoh seeing her and Rian for the first time and just having flashbacks to SkekGra as the Conqueror and when the 2 of them first met and it’s like looking in a mirror)

I was looking at you dark crystal dad au and saw attack dog Rian. I had a funny image of Hup and Rian doing puppet therapy for Deet. Deet: Ok Rian show Hup with his puppet how you feel about him taking down your snares? Rian:*proceeds to kick said puppet around finishing with throwing it across the room.* Hup:*responds by beating the Rian puppet with a spoon.* Deet:*turns to Urgoh.* we are making good progress. At least this time they didn’t start wrestling on the floor again.

Rian and Hup just glaring at each other while Deet tries to stop them from murdering each other.

Deet:It’s going very well I think everyone’s getting along (while in the background just see Hup throwing spoon at Rian and them Rian just launching at him) everything’s going great

Now all I can think of is that scene from lilo and Stitch where Stitch is destroying everything and Lilo puts the flowers on him and he just flops down with Deet and Rian,
