I had this idea for a Date Everything AU where Jean Loo gets a kid and his route now involves you helping co-parent it, long winded ramble under cut if you want details :3 (captions in alt text!)
Okay so the idea I had for this AU was that it took place in a theoretical DLC that changed and expanded some of the Dateables’ storylines in really strange, drastic ways.
For Jean Loo, his big drastic change would happen after his 3rd interaction (the last one before the rap battle). If you talk to Phonecia or Mac before Jean Loo’s 4th interaction, you get the option to do some online shopping with them. If you choose not to shop or don’t talk to either of them before Jean Loo’s 4th interaction, then his storyline continues like normal. However, if you DO choose to shop, you get the choice to buy a bidet. If you don’t buy it, nothing changes. If you buy the bidet, then Jean Loo’s storyline changes a LOT.
On your 4th interaction with Jean Loo after buying the bidet, instead of seeing him ready to rap battle you, he’s frazzled. Stressed. He’s fussing over something directly in front of him, but you can’t see. You can hear the panic in his voice as he frantically shushes what sounds like a crying baby…?
Then, he notices you. And he turns around, with an equal mix of anger and confusion and panic and desperation in his eyes and asks you what the hell you just did. The bidet you had just received in the mail has manifested as a baby carrier strapped around Jean Loo’s stomach. Inside of it? A blue eyed, chubby cheeked, wailing infant. The rest of Jean Loo’s storyline now focuses on you helping him co-parent the bidet baby while he balances his rap career.
So yeah that’s my AU! I’m gonna call it the Dad Loo AU, tell me your thoughts! I would love to make more of this tbh, especially involving other characters (it takes a village, after all). But yeah! Drink water and have a good day everyone :)
