As much as I love Giles, Jawbone is a better dad to the random teens that rely on him, because he's the one who delivers the speech-

"You're not a coward, you're having a panic attack. You have an anxiety disorder, and being sick is not a character flaw."

He also made sure to tell a wayward teen upset about being abandoned by her parents that she's easy to love, they just don't appreciate a good thing.

But Bobby Nash, fire captain, and my actual father who raised me from birth, should not be losing by such a wide margin. He lost two children and his wife, and is a wonderful step father to the two children he got in his second marriage. One of his step children even called him out on “bringing a child” into the marriage because he cares so much about his team that he’s basically adopted Buck. He sat by Buck’s bed while he was in a coma and prayed that he would be okay, while being part of the motivation in Buck’s own subconscious that he needed to wake up.

Bobby Nash is a wonderful father, step father, and adoptive father, all while taking care of his team of firefighters (who are not cops, not matter what the poll notes say) as if they’re family, too. More votes for Bobby!!!

Are we allowed to share positive propaganda? Jean Valjean vs Donkey is clearly putting two very bad bitches against each other, but I feel most people aren’t going to be fully informed about how amazing of a dad JVJ is simply because they don’t know Les Mis or only know the jist

JVJ wanted to reunite a woman and her daughter and kept his promise even when leaving meant publicly fleeing the law. He literally said dw I’ll come back just let me go find this kid real quick, but then her mom died and he saw she was being mega child abused so he was like. Well, guess I better become a very wanted fugitive of the law so I can run away to raise this child. So despite finally having a stable life after 19 years in prison and then building his reputation up, he decided to live in fear once more, and his everything from Cosette to protect her. While he could have done some things better to give Cosette a more social young adult life, some things were kind of necessary in order to never be found out.

The one thing I’m sure people don’t know: JVJ literally buried himself alive in order to get him and Cosette into a very safe living situation in a convent. This is not a hyperbole that literally happened. He wasn’t supposed to almost die but that was still the plan.

Anyways I love Donkey and his wonderful wife and kids, but Jean Valjean legitimately deserves to win the entire bracket. I know it’s probably futile but I figured it was worth a shot to try to educate folks. Ty for coming to my Ted Talk.
