smau. piercer & pierced (only tongue mentioned)! shinsou hitoshi. gn! reader (i’m pretty sure). reader pierced their lip. profanity & sarcasm. fake-nonchalant! shinsou. this is lowkey giving nothing burger but that’s okay.

shinsou doesn’t like hugs.

as a kid, neither of his parents were huggers; they stuck to high-fives and ruffling his hair when he did a good job. he never really got the appeal of hugging someone. it’s an awkward situation, really. he doesn’t know what to do with his hands, he’s never sure of what to say or how long the hug should last. he thinks maybe he hates hugs.

until you hug him for the first time. it happens right after you two start dating. you’re at an old-school arcade, brows pinched together as you try to win something from the claw machine. you’ve already spent so much money on the game, shinsou thinks it’s hilarious.

and then you look at him, pouting, and ask him to try. shinsou’s never been good at claw games, but the look on your face has determination coursing through his veins. after only two tries, he wins you a stupid purple teddy bear. your eyes light up and, before he knows it, your arms are wrapped around him in a tight hug.

he’s frozen for a moment. again, he’s unsure what to do. but you’re so warm against him, so he relaxes and wraps his arms around you too.

maybe, just maybe, shinsou doesn’t hate hugs as much as he thought he did.
