I wish there was an ask a dad hotline.
I have a question about my kitchen sink and hooking up a connector to the spout but I can't google it because I don't have the proper names for shit 😢
I'd ask mine, but he's dead.

hello, bari sax in a bit of a pickle! This is my last year in my band cuz I'm graduating and all the seniors get to have a solo now my teacher gave me something by Mozart (you see my problem) he said he'd love it if I found anything made actually for bari sax but what I did find although beautiful it is, for lack of better words, very fucking hard. Do you know anything that could work well with bari or should I play the Mozart piece that's transcribed for alto in the first place? <3
I definitely dont suggest looking for any Mozart peices for bari sax or any saxophone cause he simply wasn't alive when it was created it came about 50 years after he died you could get the solo transposed down if you so prefer but it seems like you're looking for something else sense the bari sax is from the 1840s I suggest looking at more recent composers (late 1800s and on) as well they'll possibly have music for such an instrument I personally dont know your skill level fully but I can suggest what composers to look for sense you'll mostly find alto transpositions it seems alot of people simply don't transpose for bari sax all the time, if you can't find bari sax you could look at tuba solos sense they fall into a similar range but that isn't really preferable you could definitely take the mozart but if you want to but if you think its too much i definitely suggest looking for something else more for your instrument! All i can suggest is more recent composer sense its more likely to find a solo with your instrument I hope this helps as I wasnt sure how to handle this question?? I personally dont know your skill level enough to suggest full peices but this should widdle down your search hopefully??
Dad questions for Victory; Charcoal or gas grill?
Hardwoods! The best way to cook meat (and other foods) is to smoke it, and the best fuel for smoking meat is wood: hickory, oak, and apple are my favorite choices. Maple wood also gives a sweet and mild taste, which can be nice. Plus you can grill with your smoker too, and get that signature smokey taste.

Dad! Do you know who Tag's first crush was?
“Of course! I have to be in-the-know on all of Tag’s relationships, friendships, and crushes (for security reasons, of course) and his very first crush was a lovely little female Dumariian by the name of–”
