#dad review

I remember someone in an Iron Lung review asked how people who didn’t watch Mark a lot felt about his acting (can’t find it again). Fortunately for me, I dragged my dad and his girlfriend to see it.

Not sure about his girlfriend, but my dad did not have high expectations and Mark blew it out of the water for him. He was surprised with how good his acting was since he was unaware about FNAF the Musical existing.

Said he felt like the delivery was great, but that some lines of dialogue themselves just… didn’t hit. It probably sounded cool on paper, but said aloud was just a touch cringe. He also said he did better than Josh Hutcherson in the FNAF movies, which… is totally fair.

Anyways, thought people may want to know about how someone who isn’t a lunatic feels about Iron Lung.

I am showing my Dad The Owl House. King is my dad’s favorite character and is very interested what King is. May be partially because he himself is a dad and wants to know who King’s dad is, but eh. It’ll be a very sad day when we get done with THAT episode.

We just got done with Knock, Knock, Knockin’ on Hooty’s door, which not only intrigued him because of the “WHEH” but ended with Hooty eating the letter.

If you ever show someone Owl House, do yourself a favor and watch their face while watching this episode. The faces my dad made when seeing Hooty from the Nine Circles of Hell and that ending are absolutely PRICELESS.

Omg

I sent my dad my epubs of Percy Jackson and further series to put on the family drive a few months ago and when I just mentioned being excited for the show, he perked up a bit cause apparently he looked into these epubs, hated the layout, and then proceeded to read and subsequently edit the look to his liking. He has read all 5 percy Jackson and the Olympians, 2 of the Egyption Mythology Books, the Halfgod Diary ones between PJO and HoO and the first 2 Heroes of Olympus books.

Asked him his opinion on it, and he said that it was clearly youth literature, but enjoyable though it lacked challenge that he usually likes in books, because it is approachable youth literature after all. He has read better but also much worse.

So I guess I will be watching at least a few episodes of the PJO Show with my dad :)
