The Twinyards Dad. Theory:
Ok so, im not sure if this has been done or said before, but just think about it.
The twins' last name is Minyard, however, Nicky's last name is Hemmick, i know that just because your cousins doesnt mean you have the same last name, but Tilda is sister to Nicky's dad Luthur Hemmick which means her last name should be Hemmick as well. Usually in a marriage you take the husbands last name, (i dont see Luthur taking his wifes last name and im sure you can guess why, which is why i believe Hemmick is Tilda's maiden name) but in the books Tilda's last name as well as Aaron and Andrew's is Minyard. Now yes she could have changed her name, but there is no reason for her to really do so, however as i said earlier, in marriage you take the husband's last name, so it could be possible that Tilda was at one point married to a Mr.Minyard, what happened after ive got no clue, but it would explain why they have diffrent last names at least.
