Valentines Day without children
"And do you have any plans for Valentine's Day?" a colleague asked as you were packing your things and leaving work earlier for once. You just nod and feel the lacy underwear, which somehow scratched but looks bomb. There wasn't much you could do anyway because your relationship with Jaehyun was secret. You guys couldn't just go out there, hold hands, exchange kisses. None of that worked. But Jaehyun had something planned, you just didn't know what. Somehow you had the uneasy feeling that you would spend the evening with the boys in the dorm. Jaehyun and Jungwoo would have agreed that you would have your peace, but the others would just come in all the time. But when you got to the apartment, Jaehyun immediately closed the door behind him and took your hand. "Come on, I'll show you something," he said, his smile wide. You look at him with wide eyes and run after him. But he doesn't go to the elevator, he took the stairs up. And you went so far up until you were standing on a roof terrace. It was cold that day, but not windy. However, the sun was obscured by the clouds, but the light was beautiful nonetheless. You've never been here on this roof terrace. But as you turn the corner, you see a tent decorated with fairy lights and plants. It looked wonderful. "Come on, it's warm inside." Jaehyun took off his shoes and opened the entrance. Strings of lights, pillows and thick blankets were everywhere. There was an iPad on a small table where you could watch a movie and Jaehyun also brought snacks and drinks. "You prepared everything for us?" you ask him and your heart started pounding. He nodded and kissed you as he pulled you into the pillows. "It's so cozy." It was really incredible what Jaehyun had prepared. Although there wasn't much you could do since your relationship had to remain secret, it was still the best Valentine's Day gift. "Here, champagne." He took the bottle with two glasses and sat down with you. He opened the bottle and you toast your love. "Thanks for all this," you say, looking deep into his eyes. You feel so much for this person in front of you. You could hardly describe it in words. You fantasize about marrying him, having children, spending your life together. You wanted to do anything for this man. "I know it's not easy with me. I know it's hard that we have to hide our relationship. But I love you Y/N..." He rests his forehead on yours and you feel so much warmth and love like never before. "I love you too."
First Valentines day with the first child
On the first Valentine's Day with your first child, you almost forgot about the day. Even if it was Jaehyun's birthday, Miga had a high fever that day. She didn't sleep all night and you try every method to bring down the fever. Miga was a child who never cried much. She was easy for your first child, but that was the first time you had something you didn't know. "We have to go to the hospital," you say through sobs, looking at Jaehyun who had Miga slung over his shoulder. The girl's face was getting redder and she had hardly slept. "It's getting worse and worse, she doesn't sleep, she doesn't breastfeed." You panic and Jaehyun was about to do the same. "Okay, I'm driving." In the next hospital, where there was a pediatrics, you park and run to the hospital. But when Jaehyun takes his daughter out, Miga made weird twitches. Miga threw up and then stopped responding. "Is she passed out? She passed out!" Jaehyun now panicked and took Miga again. He ran to the clinic and immediately looked for a person in charge. "My daughter, she has a fever, then she had cramps and now she's passed out." Jaehyun found a male nurse and desperately searched for help. "How long has she been passed out?" he asked, typing on his phone to write a doctor. "About a minute," you say, but notice that she's slowly coming back. Only Miga was too weak to cry. But she tried anyway. "It's quite possible for babies to faint when they have a febrile seizure." The next moment a pediatrician came. The male nurse explained everything and the pediatrician took Miga right away. You went to pediatrics and they did all the examinations on Miga. In the end, it turned out that she had a three-day fever. The doctor gave her injections and prescribed medication. Miga was calmer now and her face slowly became more normal. "The fever should go down now. But everything is okay. Maybe you'll stay here for the next hour. It would be good if you still breastfeed her because there are important vitamins in breast milk. Now that the stress has subsided, you both realize how tired you were. The little girl in your arms wasn't even three months old and was already causing you a lot of stress. "The strawberry milk in the vending machine in there. But I don't have any money with me." You sigh and stare at the desired object. "Wait." Jaehyun got up, went to the vending machine, and came back with the strawberry milk. He stuck the straw in and held out the pack so you could just drink. "Thanks. How did I deserve this?" You smile and look up at Jaehyun with wide eyes. "Just think of it as the worst Valentine's Day gift," he said, laughing. But that surprised you so much that you startled. This caused Miga to choke and get the hiccups. Jaehyun laughed and took your daughter from you. "Your birthday...I forgot...I'm so sorry." You had an incredibly bad conscience. How could you forget your husband's birthday? "I forgot my birthday myself. Miga just takes up our whole lives right now." After Miga gave a small burp, her hiccups stopped and she slowly closed her eyes. She seemed so calm and peaceful all of a sudden. "Besides, you gave me already the best present." He stroked Miga's back and kissed you.
Valentines day with all the children
"Mama," Geon said, looking at his mother with wide eyes. "Yes, I'm your mommy," you say, taking him in your arms. The twins slowly started to talk and it was so fun to watch them both. "Mama," now Kiwoo began. In principle, the twins follow each other. Their progress was basically always the same. "Mummyyyy." Now Sunoh came along and started crying. "My big one, what's the matter?" you had to laugh. All the boys just needed your attention. "I want to cuddle." He rubbed his eyes and looked at you, sobbing. You kiss away all his tears and take him in your arms. "We all cuddle together." You stroke his head and through his dark hair. "Not with Geon and Kiwoo." He shook his head and you wonder when he would finally accept his little brothers. But before you could say anything, you hear the door open and you jump up quickly. You set Sunoh down and take the twins in your arms. "Come Sunoh, quickly to the kitchen." The boy ran ahead excitedly and then waited for you. You prepared everything for Jaehyun's birthday. He picked Miga up from school and went on a father-daughter date with her. It was extremely important to Jaehyun that Miga got a good picture of the men around her. She should never meet bad men in her life. In his opinion, the solution is for his daughter to have a good relationship with him. No man should ever treat his daughter badly, he would do anything to protect her and he will teach his sons to always take care of their sister, even if she is the eldest. "Happy Birthday!" you shouted with Sunoh as Jaehyun came into the kitchen with Miga. Jaehyun was visibly surprised and Miga also started to smile. "Happy Birthday, Daddy," she said, looking up at him. She held his hand tight and was still very happy from the day with her father. "Thank you, Princess," he said, kissing his daughter's forehead. Then he came up to you, took one of the twins from you, and then kissed you softly. "Thank you, my beauty," he breathed and he gave you a look that let you feel your whole body for a moment. He then kissed the twins on the forehead and then Sunoh.
