do you dislike anything about Chloe season six design from miraculous if you do, can you tell me what
Ehhhhhh mixed bag. I love the new hair and she wouldn't be Chloe without her sunglasses, so neck up, 10/10. When we first saw only her upper torso in "Daddycop", I was kinda put off by her cardigan looking so....cozy? Like, I like the honeycomb pattern, but it looks thicker than her old one and kinda long, so like...comfy. Which, visually, I don't mind, but uh...
Chloe is NOT cozy or comfy.
Then we saw the rest of her in "Climatiqueen" and I was like "huh?!" This is partially the fault of the animation style giving all their characters the longest legs ever, but her skirt is too long despite being above the knee, which makes it too Corporate in the shots that don't show the hem imo. And with it having the same pattern and color of the Too Cozy Cardigan (which I think is supposed to be some kind of blazer but the collar gives Cardigan), it's just too busy.
I think they were going for "Clueless" vibes, with the all over same pattern and cute colors mixed with grown up suit cuts, like this:
But I don't think it works with just any pattern, there's a reason these are all plaid. And her skirt isn't youthful enough like a pleated one or a high waisted pencil. It's skirting of Just Left of Correct for me.
Then they dropped in "Revelator" that she's now an online fashion influencer and I was so annoyed. Just like Adrien, they didn't PUSH it hard enough for a So Called Fashion Icon. The show writers/designers should just abandon trying to put everyone in the Fashion industry when they don't care enough about it.
So anyway, my version based off what we know of Chloe in Season 6:
(Once again, the canon one doesn't look as bad to me when I draw it in my style lmao)
I think if she's going to be a Fashion Influencer, it's about time she got roasted for her makeup - and corrects it! I think the length of her original skirt is too long to pair with go-go boots so I traded those out for ankle boots, and tried to give her a skirt that you wouldn't find just anywhere. I know she's clinging to her Queen Bee status, but she can ditch the dumb-thick stripe top finally. My design does have the consequence of not being interesting when cut off in a close shot, but that's not a big deal to me lol.
