Paternity Leave Begins

Day 1: I'm starting a 12 week paternity leave. Thank you, my employer, for such a great benefit! I'm taking over from my supermom of a wife, Em, who is returning to work after her own 16 weeks of leave. I'll be on my own with our 4 month old boy Luke. As a human mattress during his naps, I'll update #dadfails with past and newly encountered failures--I mean learning opportunities--that I hope will more than amuse you, but also help all you new parents avoid the same mistakes.

Disclaimer: I have no idea what the hell I'm talking about. As a new parent who has done very minimal reading and training, anything that I have learned is likely anecdotal, coincidental or just plain wrong. Take everything I say with a grain of salt. Ok, now that you can't sue me, let's begin.
