I do the cooking, I do the cleaning, but it's mihawk pulling herbs, baking bread, sewing clothes, brewing beer, buying artisan lace (for perona) expensive cologne (for zoro) writing long letters to shanks for advice on how to "talk to young people without frightening them," and "how to set a curfew" bitching under his breath as he irons (zoro's shirts ) complaining about the time he's wasting as he makes macrons (for perona) writing more letters to shanks, putting in a store of scented candles, pulling tulips to leave in a jar in the kitchen, leaving blueprints to the mansion in plain and obvious sight, sending the pink silk he ordered back because it's not the right shade of pink, more letters to shanks telling him that these damn kids are driving him insane- the kicker is that he. at any point. does not have to do. any of this.

I think I just had a mind boggling revelation.
As I'm currently working on my 'devil child' AU, I played around with some dynamics. And it looks like adding retired assassin!Dadhawk into the mix shifted the whole thing into a Zoldyck-esque turn of events. Like.
Law suddenly reminded me of some adult version of Killua. And now I can't unsee their similarities.
How can this fit so well?? Why does this work out?! This has no right to make so much sense!
