I am here... To announce the prompts for Dadmight Week 2025!

Welcome all, to Dadmight Week 2025! The theme is "Beach Day", and the event runs between August 25th-31st. Submissions are accepted between August 25th, 00:00 EST-September 4th, 00:00 EST. This event is centered around the father & son relationship between All Might and Midoriya from MHA!

Now, for the prompts!

Day One: Sunburnt / Detention (Aug. 25th)

Day Two: Fishing / Firelight (Aug. 26th)

Day Three: Sandcastle / Movie Night (Aug. 27th)

Day Four: Drowning / Teenage Shenanigans (Aug. 28th)

Day Five: Pool Party / "How on earth did you get up there?" (Aug. 29th)

Day Six: Beach Clean Up / "Can you come look at this?" (Aug. 30th)

Day Seven: Shimmering Waves / "Let’s take a walk" (Aug. 31st)

I hope you all fancy these prompts, and are inspired! Also, please remember it is not at all required for you to stick to these prompts, or to use them at all; let your creativity run wild! I am looking forward to seeing what you all make. As of now, thats all from me, happy creating!

I am here... To announce the theme for Dadmight Week 2025!

The theme is... Beach Day!!! Beaches have always held significance with dadmight, from the pre-ua training to the post-retirement hug, so it felt fitting to choose this as the theme! Now, grab your floaties and pen, and start thinking about what you might be making this year! Prompts will be released in 3 days.

First time participators and returners are welcomed with open arms!

Like the banner says, the dates for Dadmight Week are August 25th-31st, starting at 00:00 August 25th and ending 00:00 September 1st. As a grace period, submissions are accepted until 00:00 September 4th, but they will not be reblogged by this account. All times are EST time, so make sure to convert that to your timezone to prevent confusion.

Dadmight Week 2025 has officially started !!

Hello all dadmight fans! Dadmight week 2025, the second of this event, has dawned upon us! Dadmight week is an event celebrating the father & son relationship between All Might and Midoriya from my hero academia, that happens yearly August 25th-31st. This year, our theme is beach day!

To submit your lovely work, please do the following:

Tag your post with #dadmightweek , and #dadmightweek2025 , along with whatever other tags you would like.

Tag this account, @dadmightweek , in the post.

Attach your work, obviously! Whether it's writing or art, it's got to be in the post - you can link to the work as well, as long as theres a way to find it through your submission post!

As an optional 4th step, you can say which day and prompt you were completing. You don't have to submit the work on the prompts exact day, and remember there is a 3 day period after the event ends where submission are still accepted. They're not accepted after September 4th, 00:00 EST. I will be reblogging every post that is properly submitted on this account!

Dadmight week info post!

What is Dadmight Week?

Dadmight week is a new prompted art/writing event in the mha fandom centered around the familial relationship between All Might (Toshinori Yagi) and his successor Izuku Midoriya (Deku) from MHA! It happens yearly, on August 25th-31st.

Along with Dadmight week, I also run Dadmight day! This is a one-day event that takes place on March 16th, as a short preview for Dadmight week. All the rules and guidelines for Dadmight Week apply to Dadmight Day.

Guidelines & Rules

Everything should be focused on the fatherly bond between All Might and Midoriya, so please make sure they are the centerpiece of your work! Ships are allowed as long as they are not anything of the adult/minor, incest, etc sort of content. 

 There should also, of course, be absolutely no NSFW content, or any hate content! FYI: transphobes are never welcome here.

This is an art and writing event, so please only submit your art & writing created for the event. Any submissions that are not your own will not be counted ! It just takes away from the fun of everything, and stealin’ art is lame anyway. 

As a continuation of rule 3, AI content is strictly not allowed.

Have fun !! please !! don’t get too caught up in the rules or making everything ‘fit’ exactly to the prompts, because well. Theyre just prompts! The prompts are meant for inspiration but do not have to be used. This is just an event to enjoy dadmight’s bond, so please don’t stress about it too hard lol 

For your submission to be counted, please tag this account in the post and say what day it’s for, then use these tags: #dadmightweek #dadmightweek[year] (for example: #dadmightweek2024)

Dadmight Week 2024 Prompts!

Here's the prompts for the first Dadmight Week!

Day One (25th): Quirk Training / Recovery

Day Two (26th): Homework / Take a break 

Day Three (27th): Costumes / Beach day

Day Four (28th): Interview / Late night

Day Five (29th): Insiders secrets / “But All Miiiiight!” 

Day Six (30th): Search & Rescue / “You can get whatever you want.”

Day Seven (31st): Agency Tour / “Watch out!”

Each year, half the prompts will have a theme they're inspired by! This years theme is "heroics class", and it inspo'd the first half of each days prompts. You do not have to take the theme and try to incorporate it into your work, it's mainly there to help me come up with things, and it will also inspire banners & collection pfps in the future !

Feel free to start working on your submissions now, but please don't post them until the event actually starts, thanks!

I am here... To announce the end of Dadmight Week!

It's been a fun week full of beach-related fun, but it's time to pack up and leave vacation because summers over. But if you're not done, don't fret! There are three more days for you all to submit any straggling works you're finishing up. While technically the event ends on September 1st 00:00 EST, today, submissions close on September 4th 00:00 EST. This account will be reblogging submissions, and the ao3 collection will remain open until then.

To properly submit your work, art or writing, please do the following:

Have your art or writing in the post you tag me in, either as pictures for art or as a link for writing (or, you can write it all in the post, whichever you fancy).
