Daegond anon here, I love those ideas! *Todd Howard voice* It just works.

Adding some of my own thoughts for the pairing, but I also love the idea of Aegon maybe catching feelings for Daemon as well, because he's just as starved for love as Aemond is. I feel like both of them would have massive praise kinks and Daemon would gladly take care of them and praise them and- (okay I'm rambling now sorry)

Honestly, I don't think it's a stretch for Aegon to catch feelings for any person who shows him love. But YES about the praise kinks too. I currently write Aemond with one but you know what.......it makes sense for Aegon too, and Lecherous Uncle Daemon™ would be glad to feed into that and take care of them.

I will also say I LOVE writing Daemon spoiling Aemond and giving him Little Treats™ except by little treats I mean expensive jewelry and gifts.

Thoughts on the Daemon/Aemond/Aegon pairing?

oh WOW I am so glad I got this anon. I've actually written them but only a modern AU!

Long post incoming: When I write Daemon/Aemond/Aegon, I write them in the way that Daemon is still with Rhaenyra, then Aemond and Aegon are a Thing. So, the dynamic I write is that Daemon and Aemond mess around a lot and maybe have some deeper feelings going on. When Aegon is involved with Daemon and Aemond, it's purely for enjoyment for Aeg. He doesn't have the same feelings for Daemon that Aemond has.

Rhaenyra isn't as good at sharing and so she doesn't participate, although Aegon would like her to. He doesn't say that, but he would. Aemond would rather her not--all that bad blood there.
