Daehyeon: Likes to have over-the-camera dates when it's late at night and he's in the studio because it's afternoon for you and he knows he won't be disrupting anything. Asks for your opinion on whatever he's working on and really considers any feedback you provide.
"Babe, stop stressing and go to sleep." You said softly as you watched him pout. "Or at least let's plan out what to do when you come over?"
"Don't even worry about that." He smiled. "I already have some stuff planned." He paused as he realized he said too much. "Pretend you didn't hear that."
Donghan: Clears most of his schedule when you visit so he can take you out with him when he's supposed to be shooting vlogs because he can use it as an excuse for dates. Tries not to get distracted but can't help but look at you every now and then since he hasn't seen you in so long.
"This strawberry lemonade is the best thing I've ever had." You said out loud before putting a hand over your mouth, Donghan looking at you with wide eyes.
*A few moments later.*
"Okay, but this new cake they have is incredible, isn't it?" He smiled as he turned to you, a choke following when he realized he had to refilm that. "Whoever's editing this, I'm sorry."
"Should we just start over at a different café?"
Yongha: Always tells you when he's planning on doing a vlive so you can get a heads up on being able to send in requests. Treats these the way he treats any other over-the-camera date and replies mostly to you. He knows he's being obvious by giving you extra attention, but he really doesn't care. (little lovesick puppy god I love him)
"Can you do the ottoke song?" He laughed as he read the comment aloud, his face reddening as he started the song. "Maybe I should do more songs. Any other recommendations?"
Yohan: Always the first person you see outside the airport since he's adamant on picking you up. Doesn't let you touch your bags. Or the door handle. Has your favorite food ready at the dorm along with a bunch of new movies and a full schedule for your stay.
"I also got us tickets to a standup show tomorrow night," He smiled excitedly. "So, we can watch all of these and sleep in tomorrow."
Seokhwa: Refuses to do any skin-ship in front of the guys because he's still shy about it. So when the guys are around, he just sits and watches as you guys talk. He'll get jealous when they get a bit too playful and he'll make little remarks, especially when you get playful back.
"At least threaten me with a better member." He cleared his throat as he watched you and Yongha laugh over the show you were watching. "He's pretty boring, y'know."
"At least he spends time with me." You huffed. "Unless you wanna join?"
"Coming."
Junseo: Tries his hardest to plan any phone dates because he swears the boys are trying to steal whatever time he manages to get from you, even going as far as locking the door to his room. It never lasts because someone always has to interrupt.
"I can't wait to see yo-"
"Is that y/n?!" Donghan cut you off with a yell as he overheard the conversation, taking it as a 'yes' when he didn't get an answer. "Hi y/n!!"
"Will I ever get you to myself?" Junseo laughed as he shook his head.
a/n: a short break from the fic i’m writing bcs . jang daehyeon
it’s just daehyeon’s family. you thought to yourself, heart beating rather too uncontrollably in your chest as if at any moment it will run away. the idea was not much of a help, because well, it was daehyeon’s family that you were meeting. what if they ended up not liking you? what if they suddenly ask their son to break up with you? what if—
a hand crawled on your skin, daehyeon interlaced his fingers with yours and gave your hand a gentle squeeze. “they will love you,” he reassured, a smile appearing on his countenance. “i’m here, so don’t worry, okay?”
his words worked like magic, easing you a little, though not completely. it was your first time to meet his family, none of them having an idea that you were dating him. it wasn’t like the two of you were keeping your relationship a secret. the only reason was that you just started being in an official relationship with him a few days ago following how your office mates had pushed the two of you to finally confess to each other after a long time of having mutual feelings with only the other party unaware. it was a little embarrassing at first, but there was no regret in voicing out your feelings as now, you get to be with daehyeon as much as you liked.
daehyeon led you inside. he’d been eager to introduce you to his parents, telling you how they would like you, how his mom would probably relate with some of your interests, and so on.
as you stepped inside the house, instead of his parents, you were welcomed by one of his younger cousins. it seemed like some of his other relatives were there as well. something that swiftly dragged back the worry in your senses, your thoughts slightly tensing you up.
“guide y/n to the living room, please?” he asked his cousin and gave the kid a pat on the head before going upstairs to prepare your evening accommodation.
you’d ask daehyeon to stay only if your own voice didn’t decide to betray you at the last moment. with a thumping heart, daehyeon’s cousin who was around five as you assumed, held your hand with his own tiny ones and walked you to the living room which revealed a middle-aged couple and an old couple who you supposed were daehyeon’s parents and grandparents. all of them sitting on the couch, your arrival seemingly stopped them from their chats. his younger cousin left you to play with the other kids in the backyard.
the house wasn’t that big, but it was spacious enough to have a few people inside. the walls were painted beige, the floor wooden. picture frames decorating the shelves to which you guessed photographs of young daehyeon were displayed along with some family pictures.
“you must be the person daehyeon was talking about,” daehyeon’s mother said, her voice welcoming. a little aid to brush away the growing stiffness you had out of anxiousness.
“are you perhaps, daehyeon’s girlfriend?” the elderly woman asked, gesturing you to sit down on an empty space on the sofa.
before you could answer the question, a hand braced yours. daehyeon standing proud next to you, his visage decorated with a radiant smile. “yes, meet y/n, my girlfriend.” his lips soft on your cheek as he punctuated his sentence with a light peck that opened the cage of butterflies in your stomach.
“it’s a pleasure to meet you, y/n.” daehyeon’s mother said, approaching you to give you a short hug, an act which was followed by the other parently figure of your boyfriend. “feel at home.”
the two of you sat on the couch, daehyeon’s hand not leaving yours. it wasn’t that hard to go along with the conversation that began since most of it revolved around how you and daehyeon met and how you ended up dating. his parents would remark how it was kind of the same as theirs.
halfway his mother musing about some kind of story from daehyeon’s childhood, daehyeon rested his head on your shoulder, whispering an “i told you, they’ll love you.”
and the warm welcome you received from his family was enough proof.
There's something so intimate, so pure, so loving;
He just can't get enough (of you);
He's not a show off per say, but he makes it known to everyone in the room that you're with him.
Donghan:
Feeding you;
At first you didn't really like it, but after many tries you decided to accept his love with open arms;
Since he's like a little puppy anything and everything makes him excited;
And because he loves you so much he has to show it somehow;
He also wants to baby you in some way (one that you'll let him).
Yongha:
Playing with you;
What I mean by this is, either you're giving him attention or not, he's gonna play with your hair, your hands, your shirt, anything relating to you;
He just wants to be as close to you as possible, he's just a little baby.
Yohan:
This one is more specific;
PUTTING HIS ARM AROUND YOU;
Your waist, your shoulders it doesn't matter;
It's natural to him and it makes you swoon each time;
You're his and the world knows it too.
Seokhwa:
So self explanatory, but hugs;
He's just such a warm, cheery person it fits him perfectly;
Side hugs when he's trying to convince you to get ice cream at 2 am, back hugs for when you're doing any task and he wants your attention and front hugs after smooching you all over your face;
Very Seokhwa.
Junseo:
Holding hands <3<3<3<3;
He's so fluffy, angel, shy, beautiful, it had to be;
He loves having you by the hand, he also loves when you're just walking around window shopping and you just pull on him when you want to go in;
The usual dragging around but he actually enjoys it (he finds you the most adorable when you're excited).
You guys woud just be chilling in bed, you reading your book and Daehyeon scrolling through twitter;
"Hey what are you reading?";
You tried to give him a little summery but for such a simple task you were stuttering a lot and he of course found it suspicious:
So he snatched the book from your hands and your biggest fear was taking place;
He started reading out loud WHILE REANACTING IT;
So when his hands started playing with your hair and putting it behind your ear, your heart was about to burst out of your chest;
"... and after what it felt like an eternity, he finally took her breath away."
So he did the same to you <3.
Donghan:
You actually approached him excitedly, ranting about how good the plot was, how magical everything seemed;
And because he loves when you talk about stuff you like he just let you;
Until he had the brilliant idea of asking you what was so magical about it;
So you started to describe how the main lead was so charming and elegant, etc...
"I can be that too!!"
He got up from the couch, giving you a slight bow and extending his hand to you;
"Can I have this dance with the most beautiful woman in the room?"
You couldn't hide the bright redness on your cheeks, he actually got you with that;
"Yeah she's also the only one in the room."
"SEOKHWA WHY WOULD YOU RUIN THIS FOR ME."
Yongha:
You were loving this new book, couldn't stop reading it;
And Yongha could see that;
He's also very aware of the fact that when you enter this zone you forget everything else, including eating and he will never let you starve;
So he decided to get up and take matters into his own hands, he will be making lunch for you.... or ordering it for you;
After a while the doorbell rang and that finally snapped you out of it;
"Are you expecting someone?"
"Yeah our lunch!"
While he went to go grab the food you decided to set the table;
On his way back to the kitchen counter he saw the book opened where you had stopped your reading session;
Suddenly a very hungry Yohan and Donghan decided to join you two for lunch;
Everything was going well, no fights, no teasing, a little concerning but not too much;
UNTIL, he decided to sneakly put his hand on your thing and sweetly rubbing it;
You almost choked on your food, wondering what had gotten into him up until the moment you noticed your book layed out open;
It made you happy to know he was just as interested in the book as you were.
Yohan:
"Babe are you busy?"
Yohan immeadiately stopped what he was doing so he could help you with what you were about to ask;
"So I had this idea... but it might be a little stupid..."
"No it's not, whatever it is I will help you. C'mon spit it out!"
So you explained to him, how in this book you recently got addicted to, one of the male characters has this specific moment where he leans against the door frame while talking to the female lead;
And due to the height difference between you two (his smug attitude as well), you just knew it was gonna hit you like a truck;
He giggled a little, cause he had no idea if what he was doing but that just made it more endearing;
He was trying his absolute best to fulfill your request but he also thought it was coming off as awkward;
So in the end you two just stood there laughing at how unnatural it seemed.
Seokhwa:
Not even two seconds after you told him you were in love with this new romance and it's prince charming he scoffed;
Ranting on how he was way better;
Then he decided to just do a long sequence of acts of service throughout the day to prove it to you;
He opened every single door for you, payed for your food, carried your purse, tied your shoes for you and made dinner;
He will absolutely NOT leave you alone until you tell him he's much better than some fairy tell made up guy;
"That's what I thought."
Junseo:
He actually got you this book, when he went to japan;
It just screamed your name and after reading the back he was convinced;
You were so happy when he gifted it to you, it was so meaningful that he payed attention to what you liked and how you liked it;
So it's no surprise that when you get half way, something starts to sound familiar;
More like someone;
You could swear this was Junseo in book form, so the obvious choice is to test it out;
Channeling your inner actress persona, you decided to pretend to get hurt to see if he came running just like the guy in the book;
One kick at the door and a yelp was good enough to catch his attention;
Junseo came storming through the door just to find you sitting on the floor grabbing your foot;
"Are you okay???!!! What happened?!! Should we go to the hospital??!!"
It was so hard for you to surpress your laughter but you finally give in:
He looked so confused and kinda of upset you'd joke about something so serious;
But after you explained to him the reason he just said;
"Next time, just ask if'd love you forever or something please ahah."
You begged and begged for Daehyeon to be done with his work;
And it’s not like he wanted to leave you to boredom, he promised after many weeks apart that today was gonna be just the two of you;
But his computer got in the way;
When inspiration strikes you can’t let it runaway;
You of course understand but you really missed him and spending time with him.
So now there you were sitting on his lap while he types his thoughts away.
It didn’t take you long to fall asleep and when he noticed his heart clenched;
He felt so guilty, you only wanted one thing and he failed to give you what you wanted;
His work was finally done but he didnd’t want to wake you up, so he stayed on the couch holding you and caressing your hair making sure to whisper a “I love you” in your ear.
Donghan:
It was his turn to clean the dorm and let’s just say he wasn’t too happy about it;
Usually they clean in twos but they played rock paper scissors and Donghan just so happened to be the only who lost;
But lucky for him you showed up at his door an hour ago, asking if he was busy;
He told you that unfortunately he wouldn’t be available and explained he had to clean the dorms;
You went inside and immeaditely rolled up your sleeves as a sign of help;
Donghan didn’t expect you to join this tedious task but he was very happy he wouldn’t be doing this alone:
At the end of the day it took way less time and it was extremely pleasant for the both of you;
You had your dance breaks, singing duets and your own season of show me the money;
It’s safe to say Donghan wouldn’t mind losing a game again.
Yongha:
Avatar was all people were talking about and you never really cared that much, but your boyfriend certainly did;
He was so sad he couldn’t get tickets for the first screening of the movie, and you were so sad you couldn’t just tell him you got the tickets;
This is the downside of surprises, you have to make him suffer until it’s the right time;
The day finally came and you had asked Yongha to pick you up, you hadn’t specified why and he didn’t ask either which good for you cause you had no excuse prepared;
When he got to your place he called you and you stepped outside;
You got in the car and he asked you if you were okay, you said yes of course but you just wanted to see him;
He of course was extremely happy but when you showed him your phone he couldn’t believe his eyes;
“WAIT??!! YOU GOT TICKETS???!!!” ;
You told him you were sorry for not telling him sooner but you didn’t want to ruin the surprise;
He couldn’t care less if he was sulky for a week straight he was just so happy to have someone like you by his side, so thoughtful and loving;
Let’s just say he was like a kid with candy for the rest of the night.
Yohan:
He finally had some free time in his hands so the only logical thing to do was relax;
But he felt like staying in the same environment as always wouldn’t really give him the sense of free time;
So he called up a hotel and made a reservation for two people, you and him;
After getting off the phone with the receptionist he texted you;
“Tomorrow im picking you up, pack lightly”;
You were more than confused, what do you mean pack?? But you knew that if you made any questions he wouldn’t answer them;
So you packed not sure of the outfit choices but you also didn’t know what you had to pack for;
Tomorrow finally came and he did indeed show up at your door, dressed like an uncle going to hawai;
You were scared you didn’t have your passport with you and you asked him if you’d be needing it and he laughed;
“We’re going on a staycation dont worry”;
When you got there it was like paradise the place was so calm and pretty you couldn’t wait to jump in the pool.
But yohan had different plans, he layed on the bed and dragged you with him,
“Did you just come here to sleep??”;
“No but right now it’s the thing I want the most and I want to cuddle you”;
You were caught off guard with his sincerity but you quickly melted to his side.
Seokhwa:
Another day another parenting shift for Seokhwa;
And apparentely for you too;
You were both currently pet sitting cookie and dalli;
It’s not like you didn’t like it but it’s definetly not what you had in mind when Seokhwa called you to come over;
It was time for cookie’s walk so you briefly said goodbye to dalli telling her you weren’t going to take long;
And off you were for a little trip to the dog park;
Cookie is a little scared of crowed and loud places so you have to pick him up;
So it’s really just the two of you walking;
You didn’t mind it was kind of peaceful just stroling around with no places to be or anything to do really;
And of course no outing with Seokhwa would end without some silly or cute pictures;
If there’s not a picture, it never happened.
Junseo:
It was Yongha’s birthday and everyone was in charge of doing something for his little surprise bday party;
You and Junseo volunteered to make the cake;
So that led you to go grocery shopping and now you were in the kitchen reading the recipe;
“Are you sure we got everything we needed?”;
“Yeees, not only we double checked we triple checked Junseo you can breath”;
Everything was going well until one of you spelled the flour;
“Why would you do that?!!”;
“I didn’t it was you!!”;
As you were saying that he threw some flour in your face laughing at your now white casted face;
You didn’t let him win this war and you lathered some frosting on his face;
With all this laughing and screaming Daehyeon decided to check on what was going on;
Not only was he shocked at what he saw he had to break up “the fight” or you'd use all the ingredients on one another instead of the cake;
You both promised there was need for supervision and that you wouldn’t screw around anymore;
But stealing glances at Junseo you could tell this was far from over.
